All about my university.
Remarks :
Government University, best university in Chandigarh , panjab, himachal ,haryana etc. , official website is being used for enrolling. My course admission selection process was simply on merit basis ... It varies for courses like B.com llb . It is the most old University with vide range of experiences.. it was limited seats. It's placement level is very good for few departments but it's percentage can be low for some. I got many opportunities here like each nd everything is done here. All competitions of national , state nd regional are begin from here. More opportunities lead to more confidence.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in marketing , business and real life problem solutions so I had choosen this programme. Here the seats for my course are very limited like it's just 70. Big classrooms are there which are made with good technology nd ideas. Faculty is highly educated and teaches good . Some teacher prefer teaching by giving presentation, others by speaking nd making understand the concept. Semester exam are taken after every 6 months and between the mid semester are taken. Difficulty level is moderate.
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is good scholarship provided to schedule caste students who belong to panjab estate. They just need pay a very low amount. It also provides scholarship to economically weaker section quota . Campus job are given to PhD students mostly.
Campus Life :
Campus like is fully enjoyable. Every festival is being celebrated at the campus with full enthusiasm. DJ parties are conducted for students moreover freshers and farewell are alo conducted in the campus.
Hostel Facilities :
I have rented a pg without food in sector 15 Chandigarh. It a big sector and almost every household provide pg facilities with or without food . I eat from hostel mess , the food is quite tasty and of good quality.
Interview Experience :
No there are not any kinds of these interviews or selection criteria for under graduation and post graduation. Selection process generally have weightage of 50 percentage of 12th board marks and 50 percentage of written exam scored marks being conducted by University.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
