This College is the best Science College in Madhya Pradesh. Recently It is given A++ Ranking NAAC (National Assesment And Accredition Council ) Survey 2023-24. It is esteemed and prestigious college among the research colleges. The college campus is not so vast but it has all the infrastrucure that is needed to have a good social as well as sports exposure for a college. It have super modern laboratories which comprises of basic practical to superior sophisticated research instruments, which gives students opportunity to delve deep in their thinking. Previously admissions are given on 12th percentage, But now it is given through CUET UG. Once you are selected in through the test, then comes the counselling cum GDPI round.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Not many colleges offers the Bachelors of Science in Geology, But this college offers not only B.Sc. But M.Sc. also in the same stream. This course gives a lot of opportunities like one can get into Geoscientist, Mining Officer and many other sophisticated posts. All the faculties are Phd holders and they are the best in MP. The fact that this college is an Autonomous college, so all the exams are conducted on precise timings. And the exams are of normal difficulty level. This course costs around 12400 Rs per year in 2020-23 but it will be under 15000 in present scenario. But, if you have 85% or more in your 12th boards, then you can avail Medhavi Scholarship for all your course fee.
Campus Life :
The college conducts Annual function each year around march-april and name of the event changes accordingly. You can find all usual magazines and newspapers in college library. And on top of it this library contains recent research papers of all subjects stacked into different sections. All classrooms are fully equipped with all modern aminities like smartboards,wifi, furniture. Annual sports meet is conducted every year and college teams take part in district level and national level tournaments. It has NCC ,NSS & Scout and Guide youth organizations. you can find groups in all social media platforms just searching the name of college. You can register online for hostel facility. and you can rent a room, pg or a private hostel near college in localities named Vidya Nagar, INdrapuri ,Vishnupuri etc

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.
