- sometime smell near the mess and wastes of animals in the grounds
- humidity in chennai , timing of classes 8 am too much early
Remarks :
iit madras ranking is 1 in india It is good for both sports and education admission process = jee advanced qualified , 2024 cutoff was 109/360 for general category i prepared with 11th and 12th with maths, physics,chemistry.
Course Curriculum Overview :
biotechnology is the most happiest department and easy and provides good opportunity in startups related to health based. maths teacher = done his phd in india and have 23 years of teching experience bio teacher = she is graduated from MIT physics teacher = he was an researcher in IISc banglore exam pattern = per semester there are 2 quizes each quiz contain bio(50 marks),math(20marks),physics(20m and 1 mid sem = chemistry(80mark and end sem = physics(80marks),chem(80marks),maths(80marks),bio(80marks) difficulty level = moderate
Internships Opportunities :
IIt madras offers paid internship through various departments - DoMs , RBCDSAI typically lasting 2-6months. key recruters include Mckinsey,Accenture,P&G,Cisco, offering roles in finance , data science and project management. Interns work on market research,financial analysis, AI , and big data projects. stipends range from INR 70000 to INR 4.4 lakhs.

Campus Life :
fest = saarang and shaastra both are conduct in january. The centeral library of iit madras is the biggest one and contain all books - free to use, u can borrow any 4 books for a limited time without any charge with ur id card. sports= aquatics,atheletics,football.... all sports are available with a well coach and all facilities. inter IIT - u can also play for inter IIT in sports Extra activites are hold on every weak like - puzzle,game,gazing with telescope, trip,dancing,singing.. clubs - techsoc club ,singing&dancing , cyber security,finance club, VFX and designing club , AI club.. social groups - hindi mitra mandal , nirmaan website - Cfi (for tech club members)
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is good and different food every day in a week - roti,sabj,daal,salads,lemon water,custard,fruits sweets = jalebi(only monday) milk , tea,cofee,bread and butter,egg,pohe,kachori,chane,moong,peanut = breakfast paneer,chicken = 2 times in a week registration process for hostel - go to a CCW office and they can help u for regiration process. hostel = 3 or 2 students per room , fan,tubelight,almaris, bad , desk,lamp facilities lifts are available in our hostel

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
