Likes
- The most attractive thing about our college is the amount of attention we recieve from our professors unlike other college where there will be more students than one can handle. All the faculties are student friendly
- The hostel facilities are very good and is affordable.
Dislikes
- The fact that the college and hospital buildings are still not completely build(not the ones that we currently use but other buildings)
- Campus life is somewhat dull and limited at present.
Remarks :
The admission criteria is through neet ug I was placed there through all Kerala allotment in the 2nd round I chose Konni over Idukki due to the better facilities available here Good aspect is that each student is personally known by the professors which is helpful academically Bad thing is that the hospital is still under development process as it was established in 2020
Course Curriculum Overview :
The main reason why I chose this profession for myself is due to the amount of respect a doctor in our society receives. It is a noble profession as it involves giving care to others. As for exams, there are 3 sessional exams conducted with a gap of 3months in between. Difficulty level depends upon the amount of preparation one has Teaching method involves smart class, board writings, practicals and clinical exposure from 2nd yr onwards
Internships Opportunities :
We don't have to opt for any internship outside our college as we hundred percent are being placed at our own college for internship of 1 year where we are able to learn patient care by error and trial method
Placement Experience :
The government will provide 1year internship with stipend at the college itself for all the students where we'll get an opportunity to excel ourselfs and get familiar with different medical situations. Stipend -25000/month(may vary slightly).
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fees sum upto about 26000 including van fees, miscellaneous fees,govt. Implied hostel fees,etc. For sc/st/oec categories tuition fees and mess fees will be provided by the govt. through egrantz scholarship Obc/ews can also avail the tuition fees through egrantz considering income
Campus Life :
As of now as I've mentioned earlier the medical College started taking in students from 2022 making me one of the first batch students of GMC Konni At the time being the campus life is limited but we participate in a lot of intercollege competitions and sac a number of trophies for our college with the space we have for practice within this short period We have an Instagram handle named GMC Konni for sharing our college fest stills and other informations regarding our college events Clubs are formed and leaf by our own students Classes are arranged in the form of gallery providing us better view of the lecture.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel accomodates 3 students per room and trust me on this one-our hostel is the best one can ask for in a govt. Set up Each room is fully furnished with wooden furnitures-3beds,3 cupboards,3study tables with chair,1almirah with 3 compartments Hostel mess is run by private caterers and provides ok food which isn't just water and masala Hostel is only 3minutes walk from college Curfew -10pm Hostel establishment fee -1000/month Mess fee-4500/month(excluding mess cut)

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
