- The main thing I like about the college is the freedom the whole college offers to the students. We are all free in the college. We can hangout anywhere in the college if we have free periods and all.
- Another good experience I got from the college is the faculty who are friendly and helpful. We can ask doubts to them like friends.
- Good student vehicle parking system is available in the college.
- Co-operative employees in the college office will help us during the time of admission.
Dislikes
- College bus is available only to one route. Also there is only one college bus.
- No hangout spots inside the college. Also, the cafeteria is not much good.
- No events, fests in the college. No support from the college management for such programs.
Remarks :
After the Kerala Entrance Examination, I got allotment to this college directly and there was no interview and all. The reasons I chose this college is because I heard a lot about the college from some of my relatives and also, the college was near to my hometown.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In this world of wide spread of AI and technology, I found a strong future in Computer Science and Engineering. So, I chose this course, and my decision wasn't wrong as I am satisfied with the qualification. The quality of faculty and education here, I will rate an 8/10 as there are no teachers with a PhD degree that caused a red flag during the accreditation process. The timely exams are not so tough. It can be easily cracked, and the marks of these exams influences our total internal marks during board exams.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't got any internship offers in connection with our college. But I applied for many online internships and I got a chance to attend an online internship by Accenture. In case of projects, the university syllabus follows the completion of two projects - 1 main project and 1 mini project. Main project is done on fourth year and mini project on third year.
Placement Experience :
This college provides placement opportunities for students from their fourth year of the course. Companies like TCS, UST Global, Qburst, L&T, Litmus 7, Tata Elxsi, etc., recruits from the college every year. Computer Science students mostly get eligibilities than other branches. Most of the company filters students having backlogs. The average package is around 4-5 lpa. The placement percentage is way lower than other government colleges. After this degree, I am planning to join any software development company and gain experience.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As a general category student with no reservations and on merit seat, I had to pay 35000 Rs every year. Apart from that, they add exam fees and other fees, that may rise from 35000 to 39000. For students without reservations, in management seats, they had a fees structure of 65000 Rs. For reserved castes, they get scholarships that could cover their fees totally. During admission, we have to pay PTA Fees of 7000 Rs, Caution Deposit of 5000 Rs, and all. Caution Deposit is refundable if we did not make any loss for the college.
Campus Life :
Overall, the campus offers freedom to a wide extent. But for me, the college life was confined to this freedom as there was no good programs in the college. The programs, events and all was not much good. We will be jealous of other college programs. Library in this college deserves a ten-star rating as everything related to library is perfectly managed. Books related to all topics are available here. All we need is our college identity card to avail this. IEEE is an international group of engineering professionals, that we got a branch in our college and, everything related to IEEE is done in an extraordinary way. The IEEE branch of our college got many awards and all. Also, the National Service Scheme is also there, in the college.
Hostel Facilities :
I stayed in a private hostel that was under the college management before. There was no mess there. But the college hostel provided mess for the students. There are many hostels and PGs around the college. The college hostel is quite affordable.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
