- The night life in out hostel rooms and games in there
- Sports and festival days, Festivals are well celebrated in our campus
Dislikes
- I don't like the attendance procedure, like condonation fees 6000 paid for getting less than 85% i got 84% and still paid
- I don't like the early morning muster attendence
Remarks :
In order to join the college there is an al india test called imucet indian maritime university common entrance test, in that test we need to get into the rank list below 6000 and if you are atleast in the ranklist you can join in other private maritime college, there are category selection also and there is no interview.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because it only require ome year to graduate and less course fees compare to other course and have 18 training in onboard, In the case of faculty information, all are well trained and experienced captains with good teaching skills. Term exam are in three stages internal exam, practical exam, sem exam we need to acquire 50% to pass the exam
Internships Opportunities :
There is no interships for our course but there are incampus seminars and activities conducted in the for making the students get well trained for there first sailing onboard and to get experience for there degree
Placement Experience :
All you need is to pass without any backlogs for campus placements thats the eligibility. Companies like synergy, torm, msc, chevron, tci visited our campus for placements The average salary package is depended according to the companies but it will be arout 35000-50000? about 80%of students will be placed and rest without placement can go and attend to other outside interview and can join the company
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
First we have to pay semester fees and caution deposits of 1,55,500 then or first sem and then 1,22,500 for another semester.hostel fees, uniform, books all fees are included expect the exam fees Scholarships are also avilable for obc, oec, scst, and for childrens of fisher can avail full course fees
Campus Life :
All the religious festivals are celebrated in the campus like eid, onam, christmas, holi, diwali And there are campus fest are there called navagati conducted on april and ship visits like all.. When coming to the sports, there are interschool, and inter house competitions and games like chess, carroms and sports like cricket l, football are there.
Hostel Facilities :
IMU CHENNAI CAMPUS hostel days are the best hostel days in my life like there are neat and clean rooms with common as well as privet washrooms, there is daily cleaning staffs to clean our rooms in bases, The hostel food is also good that biriyani, chapati are so good just like hotel foods

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum
