Likes
- Clean and green surroundings, well experienced faculty and best teachers. Surroundings in and outside college are clean green and in between nature where positivity radiates. Faculties are well experienced , hard working. Overall college life is great.
- I like how college is helping students in building their career like providing placement opportunities and quality education.
Dislikes
- I don't like frequent exams. College conduct exams frequently and we have no time to enjoy , hang out with friends and explore everything.
- Very less fests are conducted in out college. I think college should conduct more and more of fests so that students have scope for their personality development.
Remarks :
Placements are good, faculties are awesome, college environment is great, cooperative and understanding teachers, well behaved students , clean and green surroundings of the college make it a best place to be in. I have taken admission in this college in 2023 through the website of college . Admissions can also be taken offline by visiting college. Their admission criteria is based on percentage got in class 12th . Those who will have 70% or above preference will be given to them.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have interest in business studies and economics from the very beginning so this is the main reason for choosing this course. Recently our college has got A+ by NAAC so this tells a lot about our college faculty. College faculty is well experienced and hard working. Teachers are also well qualified and experienced.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for any internship . Those who opted get good internship Opportunities. One of the girl got internship in him tech at mohali for 3 months. She is in sales department I think and is doing her best there.
Placement Experience :
Placements are good . And placement opportunities are provided to everyone like each and every student. Few visited recruiters are piramal, him tech etc. Highest package offered to students was around 50000 and average package was 15000. Mostly students who got placements were above 70% .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In first year I have paid 27200 as tuition fees and exam fees 3500 each for 1st and 2nd semester . Iam currently in second year so this year I have paid 30000 as tuition fees and examination fees 3500 also for 3rd and 4th semester. My batchmates who belong from backward categories have some relaxation in fees like they have to pay only 15000 as tuition fees and their examination fees is also less than me. Lots of scholarship schemes are available like meritorious scholarships, income based scholarships also, and scholarships for backward classes, sc, st and many more. Amount of these scholarships is about 6000 to 10000 annually. Merit based scholarships are higher as compared to other scholarships. Overall a good financial aid is given to eligible students which is beneficial for them. This financial aid obviously help students in meeting their daily expenses. A lot of students are availing the benefits of these scholarships. Faculties are great in this , they are doing a great job .
Campus Life :
Life at campus is amazing between beautiful surroundings. Fests are conducted every month according to festivals with great rejoicing. Library is full of books and journals. Every kind of books are available in library. Sports like cricket , football , volleyball and many other sports activities are available. Clubs like rotract clubs are run by students.
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for hostel but I have heard from hostel students that the mess food is delicious and rooms in the hostel are nice well lighted by big windows. They feel at home even at the hostel. Good wifi connection is also available at the hostel.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
