Remarks :
It is good college if you don’t want to go regularly college. There isn’t any interview or written test for it but there is cut off as for bcom there was a cut off of 109 % in 2022 session. It is one of a great college for me it has good reputation as well .. For admission you can go to there official website as well..
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty is good but it can be more good … teaching is brilliant in my opinion teachers are very good at handling any problem faced by student … They have very warm behaviour some teachers can be rude but if they are teachers they have to be rude a little bit I guess Overall the teaching is good and very supportive
Internships Opportunities :
No internship I have opted but there is internship I heard about it but is isn’t as much good as internship word sounds … The intenship was for 2 weeks and got 3000 for it but it was in women’s college not in coed of Khalsa college
Placement Experience :
There is placement in every college but indeed but we haven’t that much placement I guess … If u are in need of placement in bcom u should look up to any other college … this college aren’t going to give u good placement
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure of Sggs college sector 26 chandigarh is as follow :- There is 2 semester in one year and bcom is a 3 year degree. For 1 year - 1 Sem :- 20868 2 Sem :- 12753 For 2 year - 3 Sem :- 19972 4 sem :- 12753 For 3 year - 5 Sem :- 19972 6 sem :- 12753 In this there is university examination fee rs 5670/-
Campus Life :
There is the most famous fest which is called youth zonal fest which occurs in the month of October and can be conducted in any affiliated colleges of the Punjab university And the library of Sggs is good they give you books whenever u want .. Sports we can say they have to give cheer up for that .. sports isn’t played that much in this college if u want to peruse in sports u should rather stick to some other college There is rotary group in our college which is good they have donation , blood donation and environment safety programs as well
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted any hostel but my friends have hostel and the yearly rent is 78000 I guess including all food and living with this money …. And the mess food is not messed the food is good u can have variety of food as well

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
