- 1)well maintained clean and tidy campus.
- 2)the greenary is what caught my eye in the first visit.
Dislikes
- no exposure as compared to other colleges.
- no life outside college..it is better to stay in than go out.
Remarks :
The major factors were : 1)it was close to my home 2)this was the best option for my rank in jee that's it. There were no tests to get admission.You can even get admission just by your class 12th percentage.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The stream I chose which is Btech in Computer Science which is at boom lately and offers high paying jobs..The faculty here I must say are pretty underqualified as first of all they don't teach you how to develop skills to survive in the market today..they focus on completing the course and making sure that no student can take a sigh of relief every once in a while..The exams are divided into T1 T2 T3 and all these happen within the semester itself..all have a 1 month gap.
Internships Opportunities :
no I have not applied for an internship as I'm still working on my skills but one good thing is that some faculties help students get internships through their referrals and getting internships is solely base don your skill.
Placement Experience :
The placements here this year are pretty bad as only few students got a good placement and others get packages like 4-5 lakhs on an average.Mostly students who get a very good package are mostly off campus.Some recruiters were: accenture,flipkart
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
each year the fee paid is 180000,in which: tuition fee : 101310 development fee : 16250 caution money(refundable): 20000 counselling fee(refundable):25000 you can get a scholarship under cummins scheme if your yearly income is less than 4 lakhs.
Campus Life :
The life in campus is relaxing as the college is in the outskirts of guna...but this same feeling becomes daunting when you've spent a considerable amount of time here as there is literally nothing to do other than relax..the area outside college is very underdeveloped and is more like a village than a city
Hostel Facilities :
The food is edible but not great..the main concern I have is that you cannot get a full meal comprised of everything good..one or the other dish turns out to be a disaster...they make good food only when some inspection is done or a parent complains about the food. The hostels are way overpriced as they fail to meet the most basic requirements like good beds,an ac or a cooler or even some good space.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
