good college overall but strict rules

- strict rules and even strict enforcement.
- early intimes for students and limited outside exposure
Remarks :
VIT has strict academic and disciplinary structure. That convinced my parents for my safety and well being at the campus. VIT also has good infrastructure and campus placements. The bad aspect of this college are the strict rules and the way they enforce them, often at the cost of students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had a keen interest since childhood in this area and I felt this course best aligns with my future goals. Faculty are highly educated and knowledgeable but can improve on teaching techniques. Exams are timely and fairly difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
i havent been able to opt for any internship as of yet. this is because im a fresher that has started out the course this year itself, hence it will take quite some time to learn and gather the skillset required to complete internships.
Placement Experience :
Placements are available through campus and available for each course. average package is 9lpa. lowest package is 4lpa. highest package is 60lpa. almost 80% of students get placed. my plans after getting a degree is to sit for placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
tuition fees 300000 caution deposit 15000(refundable) admission fees 100000 hostel and mess fees 100000 my batchmates may have higher tuition fees depending upon their category. it can range from 200000-700000
Campus Life :
TechnoVIT - SEPTEMBER VIBRANCE- APRIL VOYAGE- AUGUST We have a state of the art library here at VIT, with thousands of books covering everything one would require in academics. Classrooms are equipped with fans, ac, projectors and blackboards. Many sporting complexes and grounds to play whichever sport youd like. All clubs are student run however they have a teaching coordinator.
Hostel Facilities :
Food is hygeinic and tasty. Menu is different everyday. Registration for hostels and mess is a one time fee and it's affordable for most households. PGs are available near the campus and student parking lot is available incase one wants to travel with vehicles.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
