- College life here is decent and happening, especially the place Ujjain. It is quite low-key and can be very good for spending your four years while gaining knowledge.
- If you are interested in fields other than technical ones or also want to prepare for further studies, this college can be a great option, as they do not stress their students about attendance.
Dislikes
- The college infrastructure can be more adequately built and renovated, as it is a very old and prestigious college, so they should renovate it promptly.
- Also, they should also consider extracurricular activities more seriously, like college fests, etc., as they enhance students' capabilities and encourage them to perform before crowds.
Remarks :
It is an old and reputed state engineering college with a great alumni background. The fee here is also very less, and they provide good quality education as per their standards of modern-day technologies. Also, being in Ujjain, location-wise, it is 10 out of 10, and it is also nearby Indore, which makes this college a good choice for anyone.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Teachers here are highly qualified as well as having experience of more than 30 years in teaching. Some of them are Ph.D.s, and some of them have master's degrees in specific fields. A few courses, including electrical, civil, and chemical, have NBA accreditation as well. One can consider this college.
Internships Opportunities :
Well, alumni here and sometimes faculties are of great help in finding good internships in BHEL Bhopal or any OEM companies like Force Motors or Volvo, etc., as many of their employees are from this college only, so students don't face any difficulties in getting them.
Placement Experience :
Placements are decent, as well as some mass recruiters like TCS and Wipro and some good MNCs like Denso and JK Cements have recruited a good number of students from the past. Also, some regional companies like Impetus, Yash Technologies, etc., are also regular recruiters.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is primarily divided based on the reservation quota. For some students, it is determined by their JEE rank under the TWF (tuition fee waiver) scheme. In this scheme, a portion of your fees is waived due to your good performance. Now, for general students, the fee has to be paid in full, which is 23,500. However, OBC, SC, and ST students receive a full refund of their fees and some additional cash under the government scholarship scheme.
Campus Life :
Well, most of the students are from nearby as it is a state government college, but the campus infrastructure is good, and they also have a few societies, like the electrical society and civil society. With a huge cricket and volleyball ground, they also have a football ground. Yearly nodal and state-level tournaments occur here, so one can definitely opt for this college if he or she is interested in sports.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels here are old and not well-maintained for boys. Most of the students choose to live outside in paying guest accommodations (PGs) and flats as they are better options. However, one can also live in the hostel as it only charges around 2000 rupees for one year, which makes it very affordable.

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.
