I choose this University because it is situated near my hometown. For admission they conducted entrance exam every year and based on the merit list students get selected. Only one entrance exam is conducted for all 4 courses of life sciences, the exam is not specific for zoology it contains whole life science syllabus, then based on preferences and marks students get selected.
The course curriculum is helpful a d relevant. The syllabus is updated and beneficial for other compititive exams like CSIR NET. Teachers present here are also good and kind towards students. All teachers are experienced and well qualified. Exams are conducted semester wise and the level is easy to moderate.
I have not done any projects or internship yet, as in our department they do not have any internship opportunities available. If anybody wants to get an internship they have to find their on way. We have a dessertion program in our 4th semester and for that we have to apply in different labs because in our labs we do not have proper facilities.
There is no placement cell in our department. I have never seen any company visited our department since I got admission here. No one from our seniors get any internship with the reference of department. They do not give any package to students.
At the time of admission I paid 12600 and for the 2nd year the fees was 11350, including tuition fees, registration fees, lab fees and other compulsory charges. For SC ST students they have a scholarship in which these students can get admission for free by submitting there income certificate. For this scholarship family income should be less than 2.5 lakh.
Campus life is chill. Several events and extension lectures organised by the department. A 3 day youth fest named "HINDOLA" organised by the university every year in November. Which includes different cultural activities, competitions and other activities and DJ night.
No I have not opted for the hostel but some of my classmates have and they told us that the hostel facilities are really good. The mess food is really good and menu is full of varieties. PGs also available at the range of 2 Km from the university for both boys and girls separately.
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
Nice, faculty of my college is very cooperative and understanding. Helps students with their problems and explain concepts in an interactive and interesting way so that concepts should be understood in an easier way.
