I was looking for a college with data science. So i joined adi shankara I was admitted here by writing kerala entrance examination. Good aspects: experienced faculties,extra curricular activities, placement opportunities Bad aspects: strict rules,limited freedom,outdated infrastructure
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college is affiliated to KTU(kalam technical university), KTU syllabus is little bit tough i guess( iam a first year student.Faculties here are highly qualified,what make them unique is their teaching style.I chose this course because iam fond of collecting datas, arranging them.data science may have more opportunities when i pass out
Internships Opportunities :
Iam a first year students,till now i have not opted any internship Companies provides internship here are Infosys with 10000-15000 stipend Tcs with 8000 -10000 stipend Bosch with 15000-20000 stipend Cognizant with 7000-10000 stipend
Placement Experience :
Several known companies visit asiet every year Mainly tcs, Infosys,wipro,IBM, cognizant,bosch Students require minimum cgpa of 6.0 and good attendance record to qualify for placement Highest packages ranges from 10-20 lpa Average package ranges from 3.5-5 lpa Average 70%-80% students gets placed every year. I got these informations from a senior of our college(iam first year student) I wish to go for higher students
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For merit admitted students the fee is 75000. For Merit admitted fee waiver students their fee is 43000(a student should be in the top 5 rank in class in kerala entrance and their annual income should be less than 4lakh to get fee waiver seat For Management admitted students fee is: 150000 If the student have above 90% in their +2 examination they will get various scholarships Fee for management admitted with scholarship student:75000
Campus Life :
Every technical and non technical events take place here in asiet Brahma is the one of the largest event happens here and every year different departments conducts their own fests.our latest department fest had many interesting things such as gaming, treasure hunt , coding competitions Here sports are also highly motivated here.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
