- I like college infrastructure because all the things are in the new condition .
- Faculties are so much qualified so they will explain in so many ways.
- Campus life is good because we can go anywhere on Sunday's. Specially AMET is surrounded by the beaches so it will enhance the environment.
Dislikes
- College playing ground is not up to the mark.
- Faculty are not available many times, as they are having hectic schedule.
- In campus, we can go out of the campus only on Sundays.
Remarks :
AMET's infrastructure is good and their placement records is nearly 98%. There is a test which is conducted all over India that is IMUCET, that is for only those students who want to apply for DG courses, if you are applying for normal course like BBA, MBA etc for that it is not compulsory.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose BE Marine Engineering because I love to interact with machines as well as I want to be a Merchant Navy Officer. AMET'S faculties are so much qualified, method of teaching is full time. There are no term exams in AMET, there are two semesters in one year that is our final exams.
Internships Opportunities :
Name of the company that came into AMET is MAERSK, V ships, etc. for DG cadets there are such roles like engine Cadet, deck cadet, and electrical office. For NON DG cadets they choose profession according to their courses. There are no internship which is provided by the AMET.
Placement Experience :
Placement records in AMET is excellent, because for some of the courses they are providing pre placement to students in which some of the students got placement in their first year itself . Package is not providing in the early stage, once they complete their course then only they are providing whole information about package but the starting package is avg about 7 lakhs/year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My year wise fees is Rs 320000/- , there are some scholarship which is provided by the university for some of the students those who are fit with their terms and conditions. There is no category discrimination in this university, everyone will be treated same. There are other courses like BSC Nautical science and their course fees is Rs 310000/year.
Campus Life :
Life in campus is good because there are beaches around AMET so it will be very environment. There so many clubs which conducted a lot of social activities in the campus like swach Bharat abhiyan, writing essays competition etc. There is a well defined library in university which is having all types of books related to all the courses that is provided by AMET. There are clubs in AMET like NCC, NSS, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for hostel, there are four hostel for boys and two hostel for girls. There are four mess which is divided according to the different courses. Quality of food is not good at all. All the students amwho are in DG courses tey have to take hostle facility, and students who applied for non DG they have choice to take hostle facility.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Not bad placement trainings and good faculty members to train for placements . Good companies with good packages come for placement drives who select the best of all and give placements for them. Good placements.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum
