- Campus life is good. Infrastructures are not bad.
- Hostel life is also enjoyable. Gives you good memories than a carrier.
Dislikes
- The college is on a hilltop and heat from the direct sunlight is unbearable.
- Attendance is strict. Must maintain 75% min every semester.
Remarks :
I had only face an entrance exam which I got a rank around 17k and was able to secure a merit seat here. For me I had chosen this college because this was in nearby district with travel time around 4h. And the placement for that time was really good. I also got good reviews from my neighbor who studied there in EC dept.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is decided by the university which is KTU. Its kind of okay, but its tough for most. Easy to gain marks if you tried your best. The regular pass percentage of KTU is about 50%. The faculties are friendly and well at teaching. Most of the professors got doctorate.
Internships Opportunities :
College doesn't provide any internship opportunities, but they encourage in doing it from outside during academic vacation. 100 activity points are required to pass the course which we get through attending internships, workshops, and many other extra curricular activities.
Placement Experience :
Placement here were great but for the year 2024 it was terrible. Computer Science students used to get placed easily. But this year it was terrible. Placement cell work hard to bring companies to the campus. The avg CTC offered is 4LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are mainly 3 seats for students here. All these seats have different fee structure. First one is merit quota, which is obtained by people with better KEAM rank and has fee of 40k per yr. This is the most demanded seat . The other type of seat is that Management seat. Its easier to get with low rank in KEAM also and a seat costs around 80k per year as fee. The last type is NRI seats. Very easily available if your either of your parent is NRI. It costs around 1.4 Lac per annum. Scholarship of central and state govt can be availed depending on last academic performance and based on caste. Lower caste like SC/ST can avail full fee amount as scholarship through E Grantz. Central sector scholarship can also be availed based on last academic performance and parents yearly income.
Campus Life :
Social life in the campus is the best part of engineering here. Some good friends and healthy environment is assured. There are clubs like IEEE if you are interested in those activities. 3 units of NSS are also well worked here. Have a huge playground besides a smaller 7s football ground. Sports activities are also encouraged here.
Hostel Facilities :
College provides hostel for both boys and girls. For 1st year, hostel for boys is outside campus and for next 3 years its inside campus. 4th years have a separate hostel. No tight restrictions. Enjoyable. Food is okay for breakfast , unbearable for lunch and good at night.(night time its mostly biriyani or chicken). For girls, all 4 years have same hostel. Hostel menu can be configured by the inmates. Hostel fee including food will come under 5k per month.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
