The fact that i choosed this college is that i am having a background of food science and technology so thats why i want to be sticked to the field and along with that the fact is that its a autonomous institution recognized as a institute or national importance for the selection procedure first candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of scores in the cat/mat/cmat or niftem entrance after that you have to appear for the group discussion followed by the personal interview Some pro's of the niftem is its a institute of national importance Its a well renowned name in the field of food technology You will have a lot of startup opportunities You will have a lot of opportunities of exposure Great infrastructure Cons of selecting the niftem location would be a little odd Its on the border of delhi haryana A little bit transport issue and along with that loacality is not that much good
I choosed this course because the food sector is never ending sector along with that the mba here is dual specialization and as agriculture and allied sector is the biggest sector of india and there is a lack of managers in it so it would be a great opportunity to build carrier in the time where its a big task to get a job
No not yet but according to our seniors and interaction with them the experience is good a lot of mnc comes to niftem for internship and they offers a good position like nestle, ldc foods,lt foods etc.
Placement is also good enough with mba having almost 80-90% of placements as niftem is the well knowned name in food sector so niftem have tie-ups and mou's with a lot of well known brand and mncs like nestle ,mondlez foods and amul etc
For the 1 semester fees is 202450 and for onward semesters it would be nearabout 200000 And an additional mess fees would be according to the vendor and diet plan And yeah there is a scholarship scheme for merit cum means based that is with the candidates having low family income and score highest score
Life at campus is overall good its obvious that you cant feel as comfortable as you are at home specially in terms of food other a lot of cultural programs like onam, ganesh chaturthi, janmasthmi and all other culture events are organized time to time along with the sports and other things
Mess is good i would say that you cant get home like food anywhere but overall mess experience is good enough with different types od dishes like south indian north indian veg and non veg options and hostel infrastructure is obviously decent
The Career Development Centre (CDC) plays an important role in preparing students for internships and future placements. The CDC conducts career guidance sessions, skill development workshops, resume-building activities, aptitude training, and interview preparation programs to improve students' employability. One initiative that I personally found beneficial was the Internship Fair organized by the university. It provided students with an opportunity to interact with different organizations and apply for summer internships, helping us gain practical industry exposure before entering the final placement season. Such initiatives allow students to build professional experience and develop workplace skills at an early stage.
The employability is very good and placements are also very good trainers and campus placement cell is highly supportive and companies are arrives regularly on every year basis and growth prospects are very good for the students
All the Management persons and all Faculties and Heads and Working persons , even the Housekeeping and our Seniors all are very cooperative and helping and have a humble and polite nature. And I really appreciate them all and very thankful to all of them.
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.
Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful
There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department
Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
Nice, faculty of my college is very cooperative and understanding. Helps students with their problems and explain concepts in an interactive and interesting way so that concepts should be understood in an easier way.
