- faculties are very friendly and helpful. they provide a good way of communication skills which is very helpfull for our professional life.and as I said the syllabus is little outdated but the faculties helps us to be updated.if we stand back they bring us to the front line for sure
- also the campus life gave me a life time experience even in the 2nd year.the fest and students of campus are awesome.
Dislikes
- The syllabus is little outdated and labs machines are also little outdated.it must be updated soon or the value of the student will be decrese
- Campus doesn't have a proper parking system.students can't take their vehicle inside the campus. There is a parking area very long of the classes which is little uncomfortable.
Remarks :
There is no interviews or written test.the admission based on allotments.it considering the marks of your SSLC. The allotment came after you register. And this college is one of the no 1 college in Kerala which provides best placements and tutoring. So the allotment would be tough and many students will try to get in here.so marks of SSLC will increase the chance of admission
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum have good and bad sides. The syllabus is little outdated but also giving much knowledge in the profesional field. but the faculties are very qualified and talented.most of the faculties have PhD and every faculty have their own way of teaching which is easy to understand.And considering with other department,computer department faculties are very friendly.they teach the syllabus and still helps us to updated to the technology.there are 2 internal exams which includes of 2 modules each and a sem exam each of the sem. A sem will be long for 4,5 months.exams haven't that much difficult. Labs are also well maintained and very great with the facility.
Internships Opportunities :
There are 2 internship you must participate in academic career.first one you have to participate is in 2nd sem.you have to complete a one month internship while in this time.and you have to participate in an internship on 4th sem which also for 1 month.and if you like to do internship in 6th sem you can have a internship for 6 months.which you don't have to attend the classes of 6th sem but still get the certificate after completing the internship.and you will get paid minimum of 8000 while on this 6 months internship.after all it is a best way to gain a 6 months experience.
Placement Experience :
Placements are great here.many well popular companies came here for campus selection and previous here more than 100 students were placed from the college interview.there is a good placement cell provides greater placement opportunities for students.even if you didn't get a campus placement you can surely get a job if you passout.it is very valued certificate for a diploma.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It's a government college and fee is very less comparing to other private colleges.but there is a tution fee for each sem.it less than 3000.if you have a reservation or a scholarship like egrantz you don't need to pay the fee.there will be a caution fee of 500 and registration fee of 2500.and exam fee for every semester is 350 which you don't have to pay if you are eligible for any scholarship or you are sc,st category.
Campus Life :
There is big campus for you to explore.may be biggest polytechnic college in kerala.so we have many fest will happen.one of the best fest of the college is arts day.it was a great experience in arts day.i will be long for 3 day and night. Every night there will be students with instruments and start singing and it would be nice. And you can participate in many items in arts day which is the well known fest in the college. And there is one of the main club,one of the piller of the college -NSS.Nss is a great organized club in the college. There are 2 group of 100 students in nss.it provide a very well service in college.and there is also NCC which is well maintained but not as popular like nss.library architecture is good but the availability of books are less. They provides only engineering books. They doesn't provide novels ofr stories.which little disappointed.sports are also well maintained in college which have a big big playing ground in the college.
Hostel Facilities :
I'm a student who living in college hostel named periyar. Periyar is a well known college hostel and it provide a well service for student who are coming from long distance.the mess is the main part of the hostel.the food is great and students are puting menu for each month which is not common in any hostel.the grocery shopping for hostel mess is provided by students and the food serving also provided by students.it is very great for a better environment for a mess and a great food.there is chicken for 2 days in a week and fish for 1 day and egg for 4 days.the college hostel is located inside the campus which is very great to go to the classes.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
