- Bhavans PALSAR is one one of the best college in Calicut University which provides BBA LLB. We have good and peaceful atmosphere near college as it's not near to national highway. We have a good number of faculty with higher qualification and experience. As our College only provide BBA LLB there are only limited students in our College which is around 300-350. We enjoy our campus life.
Dislikes
- The main factor which students have issues or problems with are we don't have a proper campus placement provided. And there are only limited programmes provided by our management but it's not just a issue of our College.private Law colleges around Kerala provides limited programmes as they give more preference to academic performance. Other than this we don't have any factors which we dislike about our College.
Remarks :
As I prefer to take BBA LLB our College is the native and most affordable college in Kerala under Calicut University . Admission for merit students are done on basis ranks acquired in KLEE common entrance test all over kerala. After getting allotment there is a formal interview procedure by college authority. It's not a big deal for students as only common questions are asked during interview.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I prefer to take BBA LLB as my interest and my skills are more matching to the criteria for an advocate. As law is an important part of our country, needs of a lawyer will never ends. Our teaching staffs and faculty are efficient and friendly . they completed there higher education from well known institutions with good academic performance. Calicut University is now conducting exams timely on basis of exam calendar of university. The pandemic created a mess in conducting exams but now everything is on track. We have internel exams and model exams which helps us to get prepared for a semester university exams which makes it easy for a student to get ideas of questions asked during university.
Internships Opportunities :
We should complete a 20 weeks internship within the completion of course from 1st year itself. There is different procedures in different in different places. We can complete internship from courts, police station or any other sectors where law is a part.
Placement Experience :
Our College doesn't provide Campus placements on behalf of college. After enrollment I have planned to complete 1 year practice in court after which I prefer to join companies as law advisor by applying for the same.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
During admission both management and govt seat have to deposit a admission fee of 1000/- With - a refundable caution deposit of 50000/- -non refundable caution deposit of 5000/- Semester fee Govt. Seat-18375/semester (yearly 38000 approx.) Management seat-27300/semester (yearly 55000 approx) And a semester fee of 2625 as semester special fee. For total fee to be paid during admission is Management seat -86000(approx.) Merit seat-77000 There is scholarship facility for reservation category which can be accesed through e-grants (govt scholarship) Students with financial issues can also apply for education loans. May have slight change for new admission year
Campus Life :
Oru Campus give more focus on academic performance but still we have clubs like arts club,music club, environment club,sports club. We conduct arts day and other programmes during festivals every year. There are inter -college moot court competition which helps Students to get prepared for presenting in court after enrollment. There is library facilities for students which provided abundance of law journals and management books for references. We have an official Instagram page to know more about College and conducting programmes .
Hostel Facilities :
Management doesn't provide college hostel but we have no. Of homes providing paying guest facilities around college which is more comfortable and safe for students. We should pay monthly 2500 as rent other than food facilities . we have catering facilities where we can give order for food handled by a hotel near to College or even some houses provides self cooking facilities. College office staff provides contact number of owners providing this facilities and we can check it.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty

Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
