Remarks :
HIMS Varanasi is actually a very reputated private medical college in UP. It was suggested to me by a career counsellor. Now that i have spend about 3 years here i can assure you that as far as private medical collges HIMS is a rather good choice in Up. The only bad thing about the college is the infrastructure and the lack of extracurricular activities and events.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The MBBS curriculum is a 5.5 year course divided as 4.5 years of academics and 1 year of internship, the internship is compulsary but if you plan to do internship from another institution you have to pay the colle 500000rs as a fine. Most of the faculties of the institution are good and are from named institutions like IMSBHU, AFMC, AIIMS,etc. The yearly exam take place during winters depending on the time of admission counseling. This Institution is affiliated to the atal vihari university in Lucknow so the exams are centralised and are on time. The diffuculty level of exams is very subjective.
Internships Opportunities :
Only on campus internship is available and college does not take any responsibility after that. You can opt for off campus internship, the college can help you with that but you have to first complete your on campus internship or you can pay a fine of 5 lakh rs
Placement Experience :
The internship is on campus and is compulsory for all the sudents after completing 4 academic years. After that you can join here as a tutor. The college does not provide any placements. You can join in other institutions based on interview but college does not take any responsibility.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The overall fees for the couse MBBS was 7600000 for the batch 2021, It increases by 80000-100000 rs every 3 year. The yearly fees is 1530000 which includes the tution fees and the hostel fees (1.5 lakh) that is compulsary whether you take hostel or not. There is 300000rs of caution money taken during the admission process and 40000 for books,laundary,mattress,etc is charged one time. Other than that there are no such hidden charges and the fees is same for everyone from any category. No financal aid is provided by the college, there is only an option of student loan that the college can help you with. The overall fee structure of HIMS Varanasi is on the upperside of the private medical colleges in UP but it does not have any hidden cahrges like other colleges.
Campus Life :
There is not much events or fest conducted in the college but there are few like panacea which the yearly fest that take place in January and Vakratundayam, the annual ganesh chaturthi fest. Other that there are not much going on in college. There is central library and a common reafing room fir undergraduates and one for postgraduates with all the necessary books available.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is compulsory for all the stidents wheter ypu choose to stay or not. The fees of hostel and mess is 150000rs yearly. The mess is just mediocure but you have an option of "upgraded mess" with a much better menu that costs 60000rs extra every year.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
