- Faculties are well experienced doctors retired from BHU and AIIMS and they are very friendly and keen to help with studies anytime.
- The campus life is interesting, you can enjoy with your friends in evening.
Dislikes
- College is situated on highway far from the main city. So, sometimes its hectic to go far for basic amenities.
- Infrastructure is still under development.
Remarks :
HIMS is a private medical college in Varanasi. It is affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee University, Lucknow. Students can get admission through qualifying NEET and then applying for UP counselling. The cut-off score is nearly 400-450 marks in NEET. Benefits of choosing HIMS:- •The hospital has a good patient outflow, so the students can get maximum exposure. •It is affiliated with the central university. •Pass percentage is good as compared to other private colleges. •Faculties are experienced doctors from AIIMS, BHU, etc.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is strictly followed as per National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines. There are monthly tests, two semester exams, one pre-university exam, and one University exam held in a year. All the exams are taken timely and they are helpful for the personal growth of the students. The faculties are well-experienced doctors and retired AIIMS and BHU faculties.
Campus Life :
•There is an annual fest PANACEA which is held every year in the month of December-January. Other than the annual fest, all other festivals are also celebrated. •Both indoor and outdoor sports tournaments are regularly organized. •Conferences are also held. • All standard and other books required for preparation for both UG and PG courses are available. •Classrooms are well equipped with AC whiteboard and 200 seating capacity. • The hostels are well maintained, with 4 person per room. The food quality is good. The menu includes all varieties of vegetables.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
