Likes
- I like the education quality and the faculty in my campus because the teachers are very knowledgeable and many teachers from BHU have joined in my college who have many years of experience
- I like the campus life because every festival is celebrated here like republic day , janmashtmi, diwali , holi , Sports , music , education club is there Annual fest is also conducted on the grand level in which some singers and bands and DJ are invited
Dislikes
- The campus area of my college is so small and no stationary facility is there which cause a lot of inconvenience to the students because the maine market is too far away almost 12 kms away from the college
- I don't like the quality of mess food in my college and I also don't like the stipened which is given to the interns because it is too low
Remarks :
I chose this college because it was on 7th number in the list because of its reputation in respect to studies . The teachers have joined from BHU here in the college . BAD ASPECT - 1. The stipened for the college is very low 5000 rs only per month that too they give stipened once in 3 months 2. the mess menu the quality of food is too low The admission process was through a exam which is NEET exam . According to the marks scored in the NEET exam the colleges release their cut off and students foll their choices for the college's . Then counselling occurs and students get the seat in the medical colleges according to their performance and Marks scored in the exam . The cutoff for first round for my college HERITAGE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCE VARANASI, was 398 marks in the NEET exam I prepared for this exam for 2 years .In the first year I took coaching from the AAKASH INSTITUTE but due to Covid in the 2nd year I studies from the home itself and prepared myself for the exam
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course out of my interest in the medical science , I always wanted to be a great doctor like it happens in movies any case arrives then a senior doctor is called who saves the patient I always wanted this in my real life and hope one day this will come true The faculties are MBBS GRADUATE, PG'S , From BHU . The teachers are very knowledgeable and cooperative. They teach from the power point presentations and then practicals are also conducted in every subject . EXAMS - first 1st semester exam Then 2nd semester exam Then pee professional exams Then final professional exams Our university is ATAL BIHARI VAJYEPAAI so the level of exam is a bit difficult now
Internships Opportunities :
The intership is included in the mbbs course itself and students have to do internship from the college they have completed their mbbs The interns get the chance to handle the patients and their cases fairly The day and night shifts are allocated to the students and attendance is mandatory the students can't skip their attendance The students get the chance to learn new things how to handle the patients like basic life support education is given and taught on the dummies . The students get the chance to learn how to give IM , IV injection, catheter insertion , suturing , emergency medicine postings , how to manage the emergency case and many more things
Placement Experience :
No campus placements are offered The intership fees is 9 lakh 71 thousand and 5000 rs are given as a stipend to the students which is too low The pg seats are also available in the college and they get the sallary according to their chosen departments

Tuition fees - first year - 1557092rs Second year - 1557092 rs Thirt year - 1557092 rs Fourth year - 1557092 rs Internship - 971000rs Security money - 3 lakh rupees Hostel fees - 150000 every year Miscellaneous fees - 85000 every year U have to buy practical manuals from library every year for around 2700 rs No scholarship is provided by the college to the students The fees is same for all the students irrespective of the caste or category
Campus Life :
The annual fest is conducted in the month of December and January Saraswati Pooja is celebrated in January Republic day is celebrated in January Holi is played in March in the campus Janmashtmi is celebrated in August Ganesh chaturthi is celebrated in September Diwali is celebrated in the name of udgam in October - November The sports are played like kho kho , badminton , cricket, football , volleyball Indoorgames like table tennis , chess , etc Cultural activities are there like singing , dancing , acting , instruments playing Educational events are also conducted like debate , speech ,poem , quiz There is a page in the name of college which is HERITAGE IMS For batch 2021 there is an insta page named orange falcons and every batch of college has different insta page commonly
Hostel Facilities :
The fees for hostel is 1 lakh 50 thousand every year in which mess fees is also included This fees is given along with the admission tution fees itself The hostel is a 4 sharing room for girls and 3 sharing room for boys For girls 2 buildings are there south block and north block and each floor has a common washroom no separate washrooms are given Each student is given a bed a mirror a dressing table a study table and a chair The quality of food is too low even on repeated complaints nothing has changed yet I have never rented a pg room so I don't know about the locality but the locality generally is the village people

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.

Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
