- The institution is small ,but gives you the peaceful atmosphere. Especially the wisdom tree and the stone benches around it.Then about our faculties our HOD hemakumar sir teaches labour legislation in a very great way by making us to learn through different case studies, case discussions etc.Overall the campus life is also so good.
- Then we have OBT tooo which is another interesting component in our syllabus, that is too adventurous , enjoyable and it provides learning experience too
Dislikes
- At a time we feel stress in handling the academic pressure ,but in long term it's worth only , because through this process by unknowingly we learn to handle pressures too.
Remarks :
Hrm department at Mssw is known for its brand it has created in various industries by supplying well equipped knowledgable industry com ready professionals. For admission we had aptitude test ,followed by personal interview .Aptitude test contains general aptitude syllabus ,along with this we had questions from basic Hr functions too.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course provides good placements ,good social networkings along with the strong curriculum. Faculties are well equipped with theoretical knowledge and practical knowledge. When it comes to theories they uses real time case studies for our better understanding and they are very supportive throughout the learning process.In a sem we had 2 internals which is out of 25 Mark's, so it is fine if we write 1 internal, Mark's will be taken 1 out of 2 whichever is higher ,so this approach is so flexible for students and followed by this semester exam out of 100 .
Internships Opportunities :
We had 2 internships ,one in manufacturing sector which is for 1 month and for second one it can be of any industry and it was summer internship, I have interned in Toshiba jsw power systems and summer internship at CavinKare.There are some companies which offers stipend too.So for initial learning the organizations will give you exposure in Recruitment ,then learning and development function.It varies according to organisation.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placements are like students should have 60%but it varies some companies require 70% ,and most of the companies prefer students with no arrears and gaps in education.Some of the companies that had visited our college was Ashok leyland ,Cognizant,Royal Enfield, TCS,Ramco,Yamaha Motors ,Vedanta, ,Reliance etc. Highest package was 9 lac and average package was 4 lac
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For first years we had 94,600 and for 2nd year it was 98000.The fees can be paid in 2 installments per year.In following years it has been increased too.It is a self financed course.There are scholarships available for reserved categories.
Campus Life :
We have dejavu our annual cultural event which would take place between january and February. The cultural events will be presented by each department who are interested and there are prizes and trophies for departments who performs well. We have a library ,where we have access to over 6000 plus e journals and 313500 plus e books .Then we have collection of more than 17000 books in our library which conducts library week ,we have ki rary committee,then various programs like readers platform ,Community extension program etc. We have sports day where the 1st day is involved with indoor games and 2 nd day with outdoor games. We also have various clubs NSS ,YRC, Eco club ,Students development Council , Equity cell,Rotaract club, MCJ counselling center ,Theater club ,French language club etc and then we have gym facility too

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
