- The campus life is really amazing in Madras school of social work. The students can be free and do their work at their own pace. The college respects the friendship between men and women and there are not much clothing restrictions either.
- Exposure for the students are great in the college. The students are given soft skills classes every semester, internships, projects, assignments and outbound training which enhances the students' technical and non technical skills and develop their knowledge.
Dislikes
- The college campus could've been bigger because now it's very small.
- The canteen can provide more variety of food for lesser price
Remarks :
The college is known for it structured course that focuses on all the aspects and dimensions of the human resources management. The college provides equal importance for both theoretical and practical learning, thus the syllabus instructs students to attend internships as a part of the learning. The college also focuses on soft skills that improves the students behaviour and skill. The admission process begins with an aptitude test, followed by a group discussion with the staffs of the department and followed by certificate verification. The results of the admission can be seen in the official college website. After the student has been selected, they have to pay the fee and submit their documents and sign the document of admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum focuses on both theoretical and practical learning, with classes happening everyday and internships for the students to learn and gain knowledge regarding the subject. The curriculum is updated constantly with the contemporary changes and the staffs also bring practical knowledge into the class by bringing present live examples to make students have a better understanding.
Internships Opportunities :
I have attended two internships according to my curriculum. An one month internship in a manufacturing industry and their a two month summer internship at any industry, I chose a corporate company. My first internship was done in Johnson Electric and I gained a lot of knowledge and exposure in the manufacturing industry. My summer internship was done in Chennai Metro Rail Limited and I understood the different roles and jobs present in a corporate company. I did my research project in the company.
Placement Experience :
All the students studying the college are eligible for placements. The organisations have different requirements so then it differs. Boy usually students with backlogs are less preferred. But they do get chances from other organisations. The college is known for their hundred percent placement record with good salary package.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure has been split into two parts, for each semester per year. The overall fee for one year (2 semester) ranges from 100000-130000 including the management and exam fee. The college provides equal opportunity for all the students .
Campus Life :
The college campus is very open and friendly, the students across the various departments are always approachable and kind. The campus strictly prohibits bullying and has a map for the students to find their way around the campus. The college has a library with wide range of books, a computer room for students doing research and projects, men and women's room for rest, first aid room, two conference rooms and plenty of trees for fresh air. It is an open campus so the students are free to walk in and walk out. There are multiple programs and celebrations all over the year to keep the students engaged.
Hostel Facilities :
There is hostel facilities available for the students but the preference is given to women over men. The message food is of good quality and they provide non vegetarian once a week. There are snacks provided everyday in the evening. All three meals breakfast, lunch and dinner is provided.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.
ITS VALUE FOR MONEY
Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
