Likes
- The best thing I observed about my college was the student friendly atmosphere which was there to support the students and boost their morale and confidence throughout their preparation and course duration. They had opportunities for students to help them develop their personality and show them opportunities for their career development. During the course duration I never felt obligated or any sort of compulsion towards college because everything was too much student friendly.
- Infrastructure of the college is vast with lush green environment which is highly student friendly and comfortable. There are several places to spend time and study with big classrooms, library, student room, common room etc. The overall ambience of the college is also remarkable and decent as per the fees structure and course details.
Dislikes
- One thing which made me a bit sceptical about my preference of the college was lax administrative structure. There were no strict guidelines about rules and regulations in the college. Everybody performed as per their whims and fancies and made it feels more like a park which was although under control but needs to be corrected for more suitable administration.
- Washrooms weren't user friendly in the college. Despite continuous complaints they were not paying focus on the student grievances and delayed the decision making, creating discomfort specially for girls.
Remarks :
I chose this college owing to the fact that the faculty is highly intellectual and cooperative and provides all around help and support to their students. They guide you through the options you have, take initiatives to boost your confidence and gives you support to choose the most suitable option for you. The campus is also spacious and provides you lush green environment which soothes the mind and helps in focusing on studies more. Classrooms are good basically the overall infrastructure of the college is decent. My admission was based on my percentage. I filled the form for admission process and then lists were released in due course of time in which I got my name and was admitted to the course. The cut off goes decent as per the graduation percentage and taking admission is overall a smooth process if correct steps followed.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Masters in Economics primarily due to the interest I have towards the subject. Since 12th standard I was highly interested towards Indian economy how it works, what are the concepts, how the changes are implemented, how monetary policy transmission works etc. The faculty at my college were highly qualified intellects who had good hold over the subject and were very clear in their basics. They taught really well and were available 24*7 around the clock to guide and support students throughout the entire course. I still remember one of my teacher also gave me a highly priced book to read so that I can get more knowledge about the details of the subject and increase my knowledge base. Examination schedule was just perfect and the entire process of examination was very smooth as well. The level of questions were at par with the course and required in depth understanding of the topic and subjects. The evaluation was also as per the marking scheme prescribed.
Internships Opportunities :
No I didn't enrol in any such internships etc. I was preparing for government job primarily so didn't find need to enrol in any such internships or opportunities during my course duration, my main aim was to gather knowledge about the course as much as I can.
Placement Experience :
After doing masters in economics you become well aware about the economic concepts which are like the blood of a successful developing country. You can prepare for government job like banking, regulatory body exams, or even UPSC which have enormous amount of opportunities. Apart from government job one can also go for private sector like teaching in schools or colleges and also you can find good opportunities in corporate sector also where one can go even high up to 6-7 LPA as a fresher and if you have enough appropriate skill set you can go further beyond.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The overall amount you need to pay for 2 years including the examination fees paid at the time of exam and form filling will be around 12000 for two years. This means that in the first year while taking admission you need to pay around 4000 and then while examination form filling another 2000-3000. This applies to the final year of Masters too.
Campus Life :
College campus is student friendly and provides support to their students. During my course a debate like competition was organised basically with the purpose of kind of orientation of students with faculty and batchmates. They have us the liberty to choose topics, provides refreshments and even awarded with first prize and certificates. The library of the college is filled with all sort of books required during the preparation phase. I myself took books from college library and prepared for exams. They also provide with past year papers to get a deep information about type of questions being asked. Apart from this the college also organised sports and extra curricular activities like debate and declamation competitions for students to boost and develop their overall personality.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college

Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.
