I heard that the college was good. It also offered specialization in space physics. It is also an ISRO nodal centre. Here, the field of space of space science is well supported and well backed. Admission procedure is a bit time taking due to the crowd at the time of admission. I had to first meet the Head of the Department and had a little interview. Then, I had to go to the office and carry out the remaining procedured. Then I had to go to another hall and verify and give my details to upload it online and verify. Then I had to pay the fees nd meet the principal. It was a time taking procedure and it took me 3-4 hours to figure it out.
I'm a part of the very first batch of the four year bachelor's program, so our experience and curriculum are all fresh and new. The students have a huge role in shaping themselves in this system. One can select his/her minor subject, second language and MDC (multi disciplinary course - a subject which you haven't studied in the twelfth). Sem exams began around the same time as proposed around the time of admission. The pattern of exam question s drastically different from previous years as our syllabus is completely different from our seniors.
I haven't opted for any internship. But a lot of internships are available invluding online and offline internships. Multiple companies and other institutions offer internships and maby students have been successful in doing it so.
I don't exactly know about the placement rate in our college, but there is a placement cell. Many of the past students have gotten various kinds of internships and placements through them. College is itself putting their efforts onto getting placements for students. Efforts have only started to get success.
Tuition fees is generally low as it was less than ?1500. Then there is special fees and caution deposit which takes the total to around ?2800 at the time of my admission. Caution fees charged at the time of admission was ?400. There wasn't much of addition expenses except admission fees and all those procedures and admission fees for hostel which all took the cost to somehere around ?15000 - ?20000. For management seats, the costs charged was between ?80000-?150000 at the time of admission, for B.Com and BCA. Fees of my classmates also varied because of the reservation categories and such. Scholarships are given from the college itself to eligible students, which amounts upto a few thousands or upto low 10000s
Campus life is awesome as there is a good space in the college to explore. You also have your own individuality and freedom of choice. Lots of events and fests are conducted, by the college aa well as college Union. In the college library vast amount of books are available including storybooks, journals, research papers, magazines and many more. Classrooms are also good with most of them having smart class facilities. Sports environment in the college is awesome. It's so supportive that most of the students have taken up various sports. I am myself a fencer. Lots of sports including softball, baseball, soft baseball, basketball, fencing, volleyball, cricket, football, chess, table tennis, etc are offered by the college. A lot of success stories in the field of sports has happened from our college including international players.
Admission to the hostel can be taken at or after the time of admission, as the availability of rooms are a factor. Hostel mess is good, with excellent food. Evenings we have snacks and tea. Morning we have black tea with breakfast. Everyone has same food at a time, like chappathis for everyone for dinner. Vegetarians have special vegetarian food. A lot of food options are also there as we get many different kinds of foods over the days. Sunday morning breakfast is usually bread and egg curry. Hostels have all the basic facilities except Wi-Fi. It's been currently worked on. Hostels are also affordable and mess fee is usually ?3500 per month. Hostel fee is ?2500 per three months. Hostels are very close to the college itself

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
