- I like that the teachers are good and they are knowledgeable about the subjects.
- The canteens are good that is all i can say about infrastructure.
Dislikes
- The buildings are not completed and there is not enough classes for students.
- The staff are knowledgeable but they are not spending that on us.
Remarks :
Actually I chose this college because it is one of the best college in pondicherry and I chose this course because I want to learn about artificial intelligence and I thought I will get to know about AI. When I joined this college they conducted a entrance exam I don't know that why they are keeping that but everyone who admissioned were joined there is no purpose of keeping that test.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course to learn about AI I searched and looked in google for courses and I saw that this college has that, to say the truth I was actually shocked. The staff will be more friendly especially the HOD he a God like person I don't even know how to express him and teaching method will be little less some staff will teach perfectly but some staff will not come to class itself.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship and in this college there will be no opportunity for you to get internship if you want internship you have to apply on your own in outside and get the opportunity on your own the college will not help you on internship.
Placement Experience :
Placements are not well now a days many people are not getting placed I don't know where the problem is that the college is not teaching for placements or the problem is with the students in any case I am only 2 nd year student i don't know exactly about placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In my college the total tution fee is 90k for management and it will be reduced when you come with CENTAC like around 66k like that and per year we have 2 sem for that we will pay exam fee arouns 4k each sem and lab fee will be 15k per year so if you calculate everything including the record printing money everything will come around 120k per year so if you want to join in this college get ready accordingly
Campus Life :
Actually the clg life is super and joyfull but the pet staff only always shouting like don't stand there go to class like that but the canteens are super there are 4 canteens in total each one is called by its color like red, green, blue, yellow. In this yellow is the smallest one and green and blue is the largest one in college.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel if you want hostel you cannot add that in admission itself and per year 80k for the hostel fees I know that because my friend is in hostel and the good will not be good in my opinion instead of joining in clg hostel there are many PG hostel near clg you can join there there is not much distance from there to college you can walk from there.

There have campus placement after completing our course if we are wiling to do so on the affiliated colleges or off campuses of the university. For women also there have colleges at local and national level. Students also prefer to proceed their studies at global level by entering into international universities and other programmes.

The college has its own placement cell .each year almost 400-500 students are getting placed.the well know recruiters are TCS , Accenture,Bounteous , Capgemini etc.the highest package of cur end year is 12LPA.

Placement opportunities are excellent in SMVEC which is an attractive factor to join this college. Internships need to join based on our own intrest. TCS ans CTS is an main recruiting organisations in this college.

Eligibility for sitting In placement is that we should not carry backlogs and we have to maintain a decent cg of 7+ some companies do allow even you have backlogs but mostly they don't . In eee we have a good scope of getting palced this time everyone who sat for placements was placed and the highest core package of 12lpa which is actually good. Average was around 7 lpa for core in eee . I'll probably choose upsc career so this placement thing is not my piece of cake . Still our college is good for eee core placements

Placement Experience :
Job placement is quite bad in our university if you think to get addmission here you will fight for job . You have to apply directly to the companies. Companies are coming here but they didn't provide placement more than 30% .
Bharathiyar College of Engineering and Technology
Placement Experience :
The few companies which attended the placement drive were pharmaceuticals and sales companies, which weren't related to the field we pursued. Students attended the placement drive got placed and were able to bag below average packages. The percentage of students who got placed were around 40%. My plans were to go for higher studies. More emphasis could have been placed by the college on the placements and more opportunities could have been provided by the college for the students.

Placement Experience :
Every year students are placed in a week reputed companies like Amazon,Virtusa,TCS, Capgemini, Renault and so on. All the students having eligibility to attend the placements but some of the Top MNC expected 60% eligibility of throughout 10,12 and academic CGPA. So not eligible students also having more placements options to crack it.
