- Infrastructure and Campus Size While CEK provides adequate facilities for basic academic needs, its smaller campus size and limited infrastructure can restrict the scope of extracurricular activities and research opportunities available to students. This can impact overall student development and limit exposure to diverse experiences.
- Weakness 1: Limited Placement Opportunities One of the primary concerns about College of Engineering Kottarakkara is its relatively limited placement opportunities compared to more established engineering colleges. The pool of recruiters, especially from top-tier companies, may be smaller, potentially leading to fewer high-paying job offers for graduates.
Remarks :
The college is nearby to my home.The admission process was standard. You have to qualify KEAM entrance exam to be eligible for merit seat. the cut of rank for this college was under 35000. Therefore it was easy to get a seat from this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I was interested in the IT field.When we entered, the scheme for the course got an update that changed the whole thing. We have do more activities which may or not help for the course.

There is a building for companies like Zoho , Infosys. It was started by government for the students to help with placement and internships. The college said that a student should have a minimum of 7.5 CGPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For year wise the merit fees is 40000/-. For management seat,youhave to pay 65000/year. To gain the merit seat,there is a entrance exam named KEAM.The college collect 24500 at the time of admission for other expenses.
Campus Life :
We had a fresher's day conducted by seniors and the program was funded by only the students.So it was a small program.It is a small campus consists of two main buildings and a canteen.There Are many clubs ,social groups but not available for first year students.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
