- The campus is really beautiful and you just fall in love it I go for a walk every day after dinner and I get refreshed.
- The seniors here are the most helpful seniors. There is a strong system to prevent bullying and ragging and the seniors are really supportive and helpful you out and give many treats too
Dislikes
- The 0% attendance policy is actually a scam as u have to attend some classes as they have graded attendance and labs too
- The grading system is a little skewed I believe it needs to be a little more uniform for all courses as the current system relies on the Instructor- in charge and can vary year to year and sem to sem
Remarks :
BITS Pilani has a legacy of more than 60 years and is kne of the most prestigious institutes of this country for the science streams The college has excellent faculty and an extensive alumni network They also have wonderful campuses and provide internships in the best They also have a large variety of clubs and extra cullicular activities for everyone to participate in. The admission is taken through a entrance exam conducted by BITS themselves called BITSAT. It has a complex system and has good cutoff This year the cutoff was 236/360 for the goa campus
Course Curriculum Overview :
The CSE course is the most sought after course and provides the best opportunities The faculty teach properly and we even have tutorials classes scheduled where problem solving of the topics taught happens The exams have a very high difficulty level and for many courses the average score is single digits But due to relative grading this does not affect our CGPA very much.
Internships Opportunities :
No internships for first years But at the end of second sem there is an programme called the practice school where students are alloted various companies in their field to go and work and gain on-ground experience The project is merit-based that is the companies are provided based on CGPA It is a paid programme and u get no stipend, but it is possible to further work for the companies after completing the programme
Placement Experience :
Sorry not much about idea placements, I'm a first year But as far as I know the current placements are based on the CGPA system. Companies such as Google, Amazon come for on-campus placement a d take interviews. This year approximately 93-96% students who sit for placements recieve job offers

For Goa Campus Admission fees- 57100 First term fees - 259500 Second term fees 259500 Student funds - 225 Hostel fees - 27750 for one sem Mess and electricity bill - 10000 for one sem Other advances - 12000 per sem Institute caution deposit - 3000 Institute provides merit and merit-cum-need scholarship For first year all courses have the same fees but as the years progress the fees increase but it's the same for all courses and departments AY 2024-25 - 259500 PER SEM AY 2025-26 - 272000 PER SEM AY 2026-27 - 285500 PER SEM AY 2027-28 - 299500 PER SEM AY 2028-29 - 314000 PER SEM
Campus Life :
The campus life of BITS GOA is one the most wonderful parts of this college We have a cultural fest called WAVES which is the largest student managed fest of India. Artists such as Mohit Chauhan and Raftaar had come this year It mostly happens in the first week of October There are more fests called QUARK which is a tech fest and the highlight of this fest is the robot battle The last fest of the year is the sports fest called SPREE The library is a large complex with ample amount of space to sit and study along with a 24/7 reading room The books are updated and every month new collection of books is added There is a large number of clubs available in campus open to all. They include cultural clubs such as music and art as well as technical clubs such as aerodynamics Club and Devsoc There are departments also which handle these fest and students can be part of them also
Hostel Facilities :
The first years are provided with a double room with a roommate The rooms are spacious with a bed, table, cupboard, and a whiteboard provided. The toilets are hygienic and the hostel is cleaned daily The mess has good food and provides a great menu.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed this course because the course covers all the aspect of commerce field . The teaching method and quality is also very good . We have smartboard in every classroom . All the professors use smartboard to teach . We have 3 isa in which 1st one is compulsorly and in 2nd and 3rd isa we get improvement chance which helps us to score better in term exam as the marks of isa are added in term exam .

At the end of the 3rd year Campus placement starts and I would like to tell that many 4-5 star hotel come to campus for placements Like TAJ , Hyatt , many airports companies Lowest package was around 2.5L annually and highest was around 6-7L per annum

Placements and internships are good there are two internship seasons named as PS1 and PS2 which is based on our curriculum. During the past 2 years the placements have not been that great because of the ongoing recession. But still companies are coming with less packages and students are getting placed but frequency is less. My plan after the degree is to get some job experience and then I will try to go pursue MBA.

Great ! You can get it easily in your preferred city/country. There are many hotels which are linked to iihm so interships and placements are easily available in your preference. Good fot that reason.

Faculty are very experienced and distinguished personalities they are very knowledgeable in their fields. The course here is very tough. Scholarship is available in 2 channels 1st is merit scholarship, the 2nd is merit cum need scholarship.

On campus placements are offered every year. The highest package last year was around 60 lakh while the lowest was 8lpa. Out of all the students only one student wasn't placed which gives us almost 100% placement rate. Almost all top companies visit our college including Google, Amazon, Facebook etc.
