- Infrastructure- the campus has good infrastructure and it is getting developed now also
Dislikes
- Campus life is very bad at college,there are restrictions on outings and leaves and the formalities also tedious
- Faculties are generally average at the campus but there some good ones too
Remarks :
The admission for Vit Chennai is purely based on the VITEE test . The test was basically a bit easier than JEE but a bit difficult than state entrance tests. There are a lot of good things that VIT offers such as fully flexible credit system which allows students to choose a part of the course they want to study on their own apart from the compulsory basic engineering course and the compulsory courses of the branch you have taken The number bad thing about the college is the high intake, everything here is a rat race .
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty honestly depends upon the way you choose the faculty during the course selection you can either choose good faculties whose classes will be difficult to get good grades or choose not so good faculties and gain good grains. There are some excellent faculties in the college at the same time there some not so good faculties The college encourages research and publications and technical events a lot
Internships Opportunities :
There are a lot of companies including many MAANG companies that came for internships . Luck is a huge factor in getting placements along with CGPA and the branch ,CSE core has it the easiest . The stipend range for BTech companies varied from 15 thousand to 1 lakh per month
Placement Experience :
The placement and job completely depends on your CGPA, 9 pointers get a high preference also branch wise preference is there it is easy to get place if you are in a CSE core branch. The other branches have it difficult to get shorlisted even for the first round
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is based on the VIT entrance test(VITEEE) the better your rank the lower your fess category will be mine is category 1 (the lowest fee category) the annual fees comes around 195000 for two semesters. The fee structure is same for all categories except for NRI students who have a higher fee structure Here is the approximate yearly tuition on fees for each category Cat 1- ~2 lakhs Cat 2 ~ 3 lakhs Cat 3 ~4lakhs In the final year a placement has to be paid to be placement this is around 7.5 thousand
Campus Life :
The academic wise campus life is okayish at best ,but if you are a 9 pointer you are free and skip all the classes The fests are good if you are interested to participate in events ,even the concerts are good and the famous artists are invited to perform every year for the cultural fests There are a lot of facilities for sport like Football, cricket, Handball ,Basketball ,Volleyball ,Tennis , Table Tennis etc
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, the hostel in campus is strictly a profit making business. They are reducing the number of Non Ac rooms each year . The hostel rooms are alloted on the basis of your CGPA , a person having a high CGPA can create a bucket in the college portal ,he has the choice to add some students as his room mates There are 2,3,4 and 6 bed rooms both AC and Non AC There are multiple mess caterers students are free to choose. The mess are of 4 types Veg ,Non Veg ,Special and Food Park ,in food park each student will have an account to which a fixed amt will be credited every month which he can use to purchase food

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.
ITS VALUE FOR MONEY
Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The faculty of this college is good there are strick and the curriculum are good and every one in the college will face 2 test before the main exam internal test one and internal test 2 are the two test and practical will be taken place a side

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college

College providers many placement to the students if you know arrears we should we have eligible to the placement and highest packages 21 lakh per annum and the average packages 9.5 lakhs per annum the minimum package is 4 lakhs per annum

I have choose and the course Artificial intelligence and data science it was very helpful for the future World under faculty was very knowledgeable and skillful person they teaches meni knowledgeable things and skillful things to do we prepared the time the departed for the exam was also affordable

We provide high package placement of 21 LPA and the lowest package is 2LPA. We provide many internship to make the students to learn more skills and develop it. They provide internships at 2 semester
