- College has good Atmosphere and good faculties. It also has large library that offers a lot of books.
- The college ground is also large. Also the indoor facilities is also great.
Dislikes
- Some of the lab equipments are old and needs to be updated.
- It would be better to have a good college canteen.
Remarks :
The admission to this college is through the entrance examination KEAM(Kerala Engineering And Medical) exam. I chose this college because it is the first engineering college that was established in kerala. So it has more exposure and also very experienced teachers.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college is under A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technological University. Every four or five years a new scheme will be introduced. Currently I am in 2019 scheme. The 2019 scheme comparing 2019 scheme is more compact and not going in deep with the subject.Most of the subjects just go through the brim without in depth but if you refer outside textbook you could gain more knowledge. Also schedule put forward by the university is very difficult to follow up. Sometimes a semester will be completed in four months.The faculties are experienced and very good. Everyone has got great experience and every faculty has a minimum qualification of M-Tech.
Internships Opportunities :
The college faculties have lot of contacts that can help you get internship. But for me I got internship at ULCCS Ltd which is one of the greatest construction firm in kerala. I got it from outside the college. Most of the time students have to look themselves for internships. For some branches last semester will be internship in the company they get placed to.
Placement Experience :
The college has a good placement record. But when it comes to core branches like civil and mech the companies coming are comparatively less compared to other branches. But comparing to other colleges in Kerala it still got lot of placement opportunities. Computer science, Electronics and Electrical branches have lot of placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So every sem we have to pay two fees.one is for course registration and other for the exam registration. So for course registration it is will take nearly 4000 rs for course registration.It may vary depending upon the number of subjects. Then within 2 months you have to pay exam registration fees which is around 5000 rs. Lab subjects nearly require 500 rs for exam registration. In this way nearly 8000-9000 is required for one semester. Therefore a total of 4 years required nearly 64000-72000. In addition to it if you go for minor or honours course you have to pay its course registration fee and exam registration fees. These are not included in the above mentioned fees structure.
Campus Life :
Dhwani is one of the greatest cultural fest is conducted in CET. Most of the college have tech fest and cultural fest clubbed together. Whereas CET has seperate tech fest and cultural fest. Drishti is the greatest tech fest in south India is conducted in CET. The college also good sport facilities and college participate in almost every sport. In this way college gives a lot of opportunities to showcase our technical cultural ideas as well as our talent in sports. Civil engineering department has its own techfest called Pantheon which is a great techfest extending over 2 days. It includes cultural and many great workshops. The civil engineering department itself have many active clubs like ICI CET, ASCE CET, IGS CET etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The college has college hostel but it have limited seats. It is difficult to get admission in college hostel but there are a lot of private hostel around it. The food provided by college hostel mess is good but the food provided by outside hostel is not much good. But its okay. It is better to opt for hostel that only provides accommodation and you can get food from outside hotels. Also there are good messes also that can provide homely food.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
