- The campus is quite big and around 800 acres with a lot of places to hangout.
- There are good facilities for sports and it has almost every sport that people play
Dislikes
- The college is quite far away from the main city and there is not much around the college to do.
- The auto rates are quite expensive and they can charge upto 100 rs for a mere 2 km inside the campus
Remarks :
Entrance in the college is through your jee scores, the college is ranked 8th acc to NIRF ranking and it has a good alumni network is the best NIT in India. You have to pass the JEE exam in order to get an admission here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Production engineering deals with all the core concepts as well as some management concepts. The faculties are very knowledgeable and are from various prestigious institutes and most of them have done significant research and are quoted in the research paper. So in each course there are 3 exams , ct-1 , ct-2 and end sem, ct meaning class tests and the difficulty depens on the course really
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies come for internships and the process is similar to placements. There will be an online test first after which the companies usually shortlist for gd, personal interviews. The stipend depends on the company.
Placement Experience :
Placements are good in the college and mostly all of the people who sit for placements, regardless of their branch get placed and production has a placement percentage of about 90-95%. All of the companies visit the clg and if you are eligible for the criteria which is given my the company, then you can sit for the company.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So there are two semesters in a year, so during even sem the tuiton fee is 62.5k and during the odd sems it is 74k. Other than that each sem hostel and mess fee is fixed which is 40k. This is for non reserved categories, for reserved categories there is no tuition fee
Campus Life :
Life is good at campus with lots of places to keep you busy. There are 3 big fests and other departmental fests. Festember is the cultural fest which has good pro shows, pragyan is the tech fest and NITTFEST is the inter department fest, other than that sportsfete is the inter departmental sports fest. There are many clubs, both technical and cultural which are run by students and are well funded.
Hostel Facilities :
There are 22 boys hostels for different year and different stream students. There are many messes to choose from which serves both north indian as well as south indian food, the quality of food is okay and it is good for the price which you pay, total fees for hostel and mess is 40k with around 11k for hostel and everything else for mess.

Placements are given in high reputed companies, even companies like Microsoft, IOS, intel are also collaborated with the college. And for animation they provide placement in" Toonz Animation, Techno park, Thiruvananthapuram.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

Placement Experience :
The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
