- Internship practices or trainings can start from 2nd year itself as starting them in the very last year is a bit too late
- Honestly everything is great, it's just that the experience comes at a huge price and so is heavy on the pocket
Remarks :
There was a good rank this college held which became a good reason for me to consider it as my top choice. Also the personal reasons of getting a pretty decent department at the tough time of covid 19 that led me to this decision. To get a seat, it gave their annual college entrance exam with which was held offline and then online, out of which I secured a higher percentile in the offline one and on basis of that got my ranking that made me apply to its program which fell in the range of mt ranking.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I basically chose this course because it was the best one as per my range of ranking, getting into a tech department at this time is pretty good, no matter what the placement scenario is, this field allows you to explore a lot of things in the future. Most of the faculties here have done PhD in their respective subjects and are well versed in the concepts. Though it's a case of who's teaching what some can resonate with your understanding way better than some. Also a special thing that's there in this college's culture is their support towards research which is quite extensive as compared to other colleges. You can approach any faculty to do research with them and they would be more than happy to help. Exams here are taken at two times per semester. One being the mid terms for 30 marks and then the end term for 80 marks that gets converted to 40 to all up a total of 100 with 30 as internal marks.
Internships Opportunities :
I did summer internship from Celebal technologies and was under the department of cloud infra and security. It was a great experience there as well and i could connect to my seniors for any queries who are placed there so that was a plus
Placement Experience :
Every year the scenario differs because it's very much depends on the current situation of the market as well and which industry is booming at the time of a particular academic year but more or else the placement coordinators try their best to bring in as many opportunities for all the departments as they can and the last year of the students regardless of their branch is jam packed with interviews and exams to crack and secure a job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The first year the fee comes with a security amount and was around 325000 but from the second year till the last year it was 309000. This was the fees for my branch and for that exact year of enrollment but for the next batches it increases every year but some significant amount. This fee is indeed a lot but the change in the amount every year made it clear how the education system is working currently. The experience though is actually pretty good as they provide good if not best classes with some really talented faculties and apart from that the extra curricular opportunities is plentiful in this college.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure is one of the things we take pride in, especially the dome building. Our college is one of the rare places where a dome can be found. It's really pretty in daylight and even more with decorative lights at night. Other than that the classes are modern style with great furniture and tables big enough to fit your notebook bad and laptop all at once. Some classes even have smart boards so that's a plus. Overall size the classes auditorium and campus is huge. Cultural life here is very rich with hundreds of clubs and chapters that host events all around the year so it's never a full moment in manipal. Our annual fest if ONEIROS that happened last year in February and might happen again the next february as well.
Hostel Facilities :
I lived in the official hostels of manipal, GHS. The experience was lovely, they provide us air conditioned rooms with all sorts of decor and necessary accessories, it's fully furnished with a bed huge table, cupboard, shelves, a private bathroom per room with a shower area and toilet. I love how they have put so kuch detailing into making a room a lot more special and convenient for us. Little details like softboards in the room to having curtains in the shower, it's a whole lovely experience. The mess is also well structured and with a capacity for the huge population of the hostel. Of course all these facilities come at a price so it's a little on the pricier side but still worth the experience

I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college

Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.
