Likes
- One of the main thing i like is the timing of the college. The classes are from 9 am to 2 pm which gives students to go to part time jobs or study new courses.
- The faculties are really friendly and understanding. They are very passionate with their work and makes us realy comfortable.
Dislikes
- Some may find some rule a little unnecessary
- The exposure and skill development programs should be improved
Remarks :
Any one who scores 50% on thier 12 th examination can apply for this course. You can either apply through the college website or can directly come to the college. Their are no other cut offs or examinations for the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is a thriple main course the main subjects are English literature, communication and journalism. The 3 year program provides us with many opportunities and helps us kick start our career as it covers many fields.
Internships Opportunities :
We have two internship programs throughout the course. The college newspaper is done by our department by the first years, inthe second year there is a week long internship that we have to do ina a school and the last om the last year we have a month long internship prigram for the media side of the course.
Placement Experience :
From fifth semester onwards we will be eligible for placement opportunities. There are many companies that visit Assumption college for campus placement the average package is 30000 rs and the highest some companies offer is 600000 this will be according to your performance. My plans after degree are campus placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The course is divided into six semesters and each semester we have to pay 16,000 rs. Thin includes the tution fees the exam registration fee is 180 per subject. As this is a self finance course all students pay the same amount.
Campus Life :
There are many departmental fest happening from January to March. The deparmental fest conducted by our department is a media fest named Voice which happens in January or February every year. We have a very well maintained library with a good availability of books and other study materials that can help you in your studies. There is an physical education department and college has an annual sports meet where students can participate. Assumption college is well known for their participation in sports. Their are many clubs for students.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
