- I like the Infrastructure. Its mordern but still maintain the tradition. Environment is very calming. A lot number of trees, beautiful flowers and a temple inside campus. The best part is annual fest and other traditional festivals.
- Campus life is very enjoying. You learn to live on your own. You do your work on your own along side managing your studies. This university teaches you how to become independent.
Dislikes
- The thing that soemtime i don't like is college hours (9 am to 5pm) with 1 hour lunch break from 1 pm to 2 pm. And if you have choosen other activities, its very hectic. But thay also teaches you time management(the good part).
Remarks :
I took admission in 2021(during covid) so i had given the entrance exam online followed by a interview. Now also, students have to give entrance and clear the interview. I specifically choose this university because its an all girls residential university with the best staff possible and its very safe to live inside the campus. I prepared for the exam and interview with help of my elder sister as she was also doing bsc nursing from BV but she was 2 year senior from me. She told me to focus on basics of 11 and 12 class (PCB), English and aptitude. And for interview, my communication skills should be good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always wanted to become a researcher in the healthcare industry and only this course can provide me a best option for it. Faculties in our college are professors who have MSc nursing or Phd nursing degrees with more than 5 years of experience. Every faculty is expert in their own subject and have a very friendly nature with students especially Chakrapani sir and sakshi mam (best teacher of the whole college). They use various teaching methods like classroom learning, AV aids, Labs and field experience. Term exams were held every November and april and difficulty level is a bit high. Alart from term exams, we have periodicals in october and march with clinical postings in December to February. The best part which i find intresting is research and psychology.
Internships Opportunities :
I am currently doing an internship as research intern with AIIMS, Delhi but its completely from my side. My professors have guided me to secure that internship. Its a virtual internship so that i can manage my full time study along with it. I can't disclose the stipend as its against the agreement but i will be working with cardiology specialist team of aiims and they will guide me to complete a research project in a group of 4 and then help me to get my research paper published. I got that internship through Edufabrica.
Placement Experience :
You should be in final year to get internship. In nursing, placements are given by Medanta, Narayana hospital and apollo groups. Many more are coming in future. More than 70 % students have gotten placements in last 2 years. I am in final year so i don't have much knowledge about package but i will update once i will sit in placements. After completing my degree, i am planing to focus on research and my higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am currently paying around 2 lakhs per year which include my academics and hostel charges. I pay the yearly fee in 2 installments (one in july & one in November). During admission; i have submitted INR 10,000 as security deposit which will be given back to me after my last semester year ends. Registration fee for application form is INR 1000 at the time of admission. Our university also have quota for NRI students(but the fee is a bit high then ours). Girl students from jammu and kashmir study for free (only if they have a government scholarship). You can apply for various scholarships by government and avail the discount in fee deduction. Also; university itself provide scholarships to students based on marks of previous year and followed by a interview in which their behavior in college and hostel is also assessed by teachers and wardens.
Campus Life :
There are many fest which happening every 1 or 2 month like Janus, Mayukh, Cosmos etc. But the biggest fest is celebrated on 23rd to 25th November which is known as apaji fest in the memory of the founder of our university (Heera lal shastri jii or Apaji). The university have a central library for school students and some other courses but the new departments have their own library. Nursing library has more than 3000 books with many national and international journals, Infrastructure of library is peaceful and good with a e-lab. The central library has more than 2 lakh books with Over 160,000 records of books and 13,500 back volumes of periodicals, About 9,000 journal titles are accessible online under UGC-INFONET Consortia. Sports activities includes Horse riding, Swimming, Basketball, volleyball, hockey, football, and cricket, Martial arts, Athletics and many more. Extracurricular activities like dance and singing classes, art and drawing, learning, NCC and NSS, presentations.
Hostel Facilities :
If your house is not within 25 kms. Of university campus, its a compulsion for you to stay in hostel inside campus. You are not allowed to go outside of university without your parents permission. Hostel gate opens at 6 am in morning and closes at 9 pm at night. Hostel mess have a seating capacity of more than 150 students. You can get your hostel slip after completing admission process and then you have to give that slip to your warden. Rooms are 2, 3, 4 and 5 seater. You will get your own bed, study table, and 1 almirah. Each room has 1 mirror and 2 windows. . Washrooms are very clean and you get hot water during winters. Menu for breakfast vary from Poha, Chane, Parathe, bread-butter with tea and milk, lunch include roti, rice, curd, daal and any seasonal vegetable with salad, evening snacks are very tasty (burger, pani puri, chaat, fruits, buiscuit) and tea. Dinner is also same as lunch but instead of curd, you get milk.

I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.
