Likes
- The campus is very huge and filled with greenery. I like to walk in the campus a lot and cafeteria is also very huge and have a variety of foods.
- The faculties here are quite good and have a good vision of knowledge.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of the college is very old.
- Some faculties are not good. They don't teach us much and tells us to do everything on our own.
Remarks :
I got this college through REAP Counselling on the basis of cut-off. I got it in the first time so I had not applied for the upward movement. I prepared for these from from some counselors on YouTube.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I personally like this course because it provides you the basis to become an electrical engineer as well as software engineer. The faculties here are very skilled and qualified and very interactive. Their teaching skills in practical knowledge is very convenient for us to understand the complexity of any machine and their working at the laboratories. After the start of the semester, after almost 2 months there is first mid term and almost a month after first mid term, there is second mid term. The difficulty level is quite good. We have to give it our all to get as maximum marks as possible.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently I haven't opted for any internship but I'm looking forward to it very soon. College conducts som internships like 15 days industrial training in Thermal Power Plant, Kota. And in Ambuja cement also.
Placement Experience :
You cgpa must be greater than 8 with no back in any subject. You should be in some extracurricular activities. Some of the recruiters are Amazon, TCS, Wipeout, etc. Almost 80 percent students got their placement in last year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My first semester fees was 49025 rupees. And for second semester it was 38525 rupees. There was also an additional fees of development, that was 3000 rupees. Our fees for odd semesters is comparatively higher than that of even semesters like for odd semesters, the fees is between 40000-45000 rupees while for even semesters it ranges between 35000 to 40000 rupees. So per year it costs around 80000 and there is not much difference.
Campus Life :
Our college conducts a technical fest named "Thar" and it is conducted in January or February depending on if there are exams or not in that month. There are a variety of books & journals are available at our library. They are in so much abundance so that everyone can get to read them. Classroom are very huge and well maintained. Various sports are being played in the campus like cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, etc. Extracurricular activities include dancing, singing, photography, etc. Here students runs clubs such as dancing club, singing club, literature club, Picasso club, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The infrastructure of my hostel is very amazing because it has been built some years ago. Air passage is quite good and the area around the hostel is open space. So it feels good to take a walk sometimes. The food quality is also good. There is mess committee so if we don't like the food or simply we just want to add/change something in the menu, we can just tell them. If majority agrees the food in the menu changes. You can register online for the hostel allotment at the time of admission. It is also affordable because per year hostel fees ranges from 7000 to 11000 depending on the single-seated, double-seated or triple-seated. If I rented a room or PG, I would have taken the room on the Shivpura. There are good rooms available and mess are also available nearby.

I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams

Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.

You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.

I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college

Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.

There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.

As every engineering college we get high placements in circuital branches but for non circuitals senior advice to study a particular language , DSA and all to get placements which is somewhere right because chances of circuital branch jobs are high.
