- I like the fact that the campus atmosphere is so peaceful there are a lot of spots where we can relax.Also the people here are socially very active
- The programs conducted by the technical forums give us a wide range of opportunities to explore ourselves and interact with new people
Dislikes
- Some of the faculties here give a lot of works in addition to assignments and records. Most of us find it difficult to cope up with this
- The events conducted by college is very less. After I enrolled in this college only christmas celebration was conducted.Even fresher's day was not conducted
Remarks :
The admission is purely based on the rank got in keam exam.A person who got rank above 10k is eligible for merit seats and a rank above 17k is eligible for management seats.NRI seats are also provided.I chosed this college because it is located in the centre of Chengannur city,which makes travelling more convenient.Also the placements offered by college also got my attention
Course Curriculum Overview :
Most of the senior faculties are phd scholars. Others teachers are also highly qualified.They are very approachable and friendly. They will clear our doubts at any time. According to 2024 scheme curriculum improved alot but still it is theory based. Two internals are conducted out of 40 and an average of this is converted to 10. The university exam is out of 60. University exams are comparatively hard
Internships Opportunities :
Since I am a first year I don't know more about internships provided by the college.But my senior where able to do internships outside kerala with a stipend.Also the they facilities for interns.You can do internships individually if you want
Placement Experience :
A lot of students are placed here. This year one of my senior got placed in IBM with a package of 9 lakhs per annum.Others are also placed in companies like cognizant, infosys,ust etc with a decent pacakege
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Since CEC is under ihrd they provide two type of seats merit and management.For students who got merit seat yearly fee will be 45000 and for students who got management seat have to pay 75000.All fee is included in this you don't have to pay any extra fee. University exam fee will be around 2000 every sem. Scholarships are provided for students with category reservation.
Campus Life :
Every year sports and arts meet are conducted.College have a lot of active forums which provide us with a lot of programs.A flagship event is going to happen this year. This is organised by the IEEE forum of our college. A concert is conducted every year by the music band of CEC college Encore.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel infrastructure is really old but they provide a really good facilities.Food here is comparatively good. You can register for hostel during admission time. There are three Hostels for girls and one for boys.Two of the hostels are located near the college with a capacity of 50 to 60 students.Other one is near railway station with capacity of 200 students.Boys hostel is also near college.Hostel fee will be around 4000 to 5000 rupees.We have pay fee monthly which will vary every month

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
