- College campus is very big, and ground is also okay side.
- Most of the faculties are guest here, so you can behave like your friends with the teachers 😀.
Dislikes
- Canteen facility is very bad. On the name of canteen they only have thela.
- Campus is overall good. Not much fancy. Do not expect for campus like web series shown on Netflix.
Remarks :
The admission procedure requires JEE mains percentile or your 12th board marks, but the preference is for JEE mains students. For addmission you have to apply for MPDTE councelling. There are 2 rounds available in councelling and 1 upgrade councelling, also 2-3 CLC rounds available in councelling.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course this college follows is of RGPV university, the course is quite good and same for all the students for the first year. Seprate labs are available for every subjects. More than 5 computer labs available in the college
Internships Opportunities :
I am currently in 1st year, so internships!!!!. No internship available in college,you can do internship from outside on your own. According to me learn some skills and opt for internship online or offline wherever available.
Placement Experience :
For campus placement you have to be in top 10% of your batch, that is too 5 out of 50.They send these students to rgpv for placement. Very less companies visit Indira Gandhi Engeneering College. So they send capable students to rgpv for placement.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fees is 24500, but for OBC,St and sc there are many scholarships, they nearly get scholarship of 30000. For general student scholarship is available if you have scored 85% in cbse board or 75% in MP board.
Campus Life :
For the first year student their is less interaction for sports, clubs, also teachers did not allow you to meet seniors. Social life is pretty good, and teacher are very supportive. The college is under maintenance from January 2025- June 2025
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted for hostel, so doesn't have much experience. But the hostel condition is poor as of now. Mess food is okay but poor some days. To apply for hostel room write application for principal they will avail it to you.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
