Remarks :
To get a admission the candidate should clear KEAM exam with a good score. Should wait for allotment or can go for spot allotment where the admission will be given to vaccant seats wrt the ranks of the students present at the time of spot allotment.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The university never gives you a proper 6 month time for each semester. Some semester took only 3 months to complete . Also there is no proper sem break. And the attendance is strictly disciplined. No faculty is going to give you their best apart from a few expectional faculty members. All we need to do is self study with the notes available from ktu sites. And for IT there is only limited resources for study including notes and youtube videos. And the valuation of exam papers is the worst , you will never get a proper grading unless you are so damn perfect and clean with your answers as per the answer key .
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are mostly done by students on their own. Offline and online interships are available. Most internships are paid. Activity points are provided for internship done by students . Internship duty leave is also provided on demand.
Placement Experience :
Interviews of companies take place and those with skills get selected. Campus placement is provided by many popular companies. College bus would be provided for the whole class for any nearby placements happening. Also placement training and aptitude test are practised.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For semester registration and exam registration there will be some amount of fees under 15k and additionally there will be fees for hostel mess and a hdf of 750 for each semester along with a hostel rent of 1500 for each semester. Hostel mess bill will be under 3000 every month, it varies each month.
Campus Life :
Campus vibe is nice but there are limitations due to the geographical area. There are various clubs like IEDC and IEEE . There are also various student communities and standard clubs for up skilling the skills . Library is available with books for every semester within the syllabus provided. Sports,arts,tech fest and inter college competitions also happens as per the academic calendar.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rent is very low and hostel mess is very bad at times. Average rating. The best part is there is not much rules inside the hostel everyone has independent choices to study,order food from outside, Sleep, use phone whenever they want . And their is daily attendance on hostel the gate close at 9:30 pm until the time it's permitted to go out. And the free wifi available is average rating.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
