Remarks :
There is no intreview or GD .I think this is the only arts and science college that conducts counselling properly according to the cut off in overall tamilnadu. Firstly you have to visit admission section of psgcas website and you can opt for the course and fill the required details .50should be paid online for the application. The application opens once 12 th tn board exams are over and will close after 3 to 4 days of tn board result,sometimes they will extend the date for cbse students only. You will recieve a mail to attend counselling and you will be shortlisted according to the cut off basis . For commerce the cut off should be 398/400 to400/400 for bcom aided . For merit sf it ranges 380 to 390 .. for non merit sometimes you have to pay a donation of nearly lakhs to get a seat.. There For science aided courses even 300/400 is enough the demand is only for bcom. Good : infrasturcture Bad : Teaching,learning outcomes are much smaller
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose chemistry bcz i liked it . Exams Timely and strictly based on schedule . Question paper moderate Correction linent since its autonomous Teachers : phd qualified only few like one or two would teach well .. You will have to study by own. My humble suggestion is that those who are willing to take science streams from this clg just bcz its famous and if you are distant from the clg .Dont ever waste money on hostel instead save that money to learn new skills even if you have joined a remote clg. Only commerce stream gets placed and learns more . If you are wise enough you can take commerce here even if u are biomath student and you can really earn a decent amount once joined here.
Internships Opportunities :
There is no internship oppurtunity for science stream .. For final year you will have to present a project. There is an internship from goldmansachs company and many other for commerce stream students during thier 3rd sem.
Placement Experience :
2nd year and final year is eligibilty for placement and you have to opt the placement option once you recieve an email from college during 4 th sem Recruiters: Accenture,Tcs ,Goldman sachs Highest package ranges 30 to 35 lpa Average 6 to 7 lpa Percentage of students getting placed 40% As am into science stream little job offer after bsc so planning to write entramce exams for iit (jam)

Fest :October -Wizards and Heartbeat Have a vaat collections of books in library A well equipped and ventilated classroom and labs . Infrastructure wise its too good compared to other arts and sciene colleges in TN. Sports : chess ,table tennis ,football ,volleyball,hand ball and many .The negative aspect is that you should compete with others in college to get selected for all sports practices .A mere interest won't even consider you . Clubs : literary club,rotaract,golden .. There are n number of clubs here and you can join more than 3 clubs as your wish
Hostel Facilities :
I am in pg nearly 400 m away from college . The pg(cpp grand ladies hostel) is nice. The food over here is good and you will be provided non veg weekly 2 days . There is a free wifi connection and 24/7 under cctv surveillence highly safe for girls.

Placement Experience :
Placements are good like when you rech the 4th semester you will be told to register the Placement portal and you will be charged 5000 to register in that Placement portal after that people from good companies or professional Placement trainers will come and train you give you classes the classes will be there until 5th semester end. After that many Placement offers will come to you in your given emails and you will be able to apply in those companies if you are eligible they will contact you. Internship offers the staffs itself give all the active Internship details in the college whatsapp group it will be created once your classes begin.

The eligibilty varies it's better to no arrears during placements average package could 3.5LPA Around 60 percent is placed I got placed. IN our college there are various companies that come for placemrnt like Capegimini, hcl, wipro, airtel, Ericcson.
Good college and value for money
Placement Experience :
Around 70% of the students from this course got placed, which is kinda decent I think. The highest package went up to 21 LPA and the lowest was around 5 LPA. Some of the main companies that came for recruitment were TCS, Zoho and Wipro. For internships also, students got chances in companies like Zoho, Amazon and Wipro. Most of the roles offered were related to HR, not much technical roles from what I heard.

The fee structure in the college is high and for different course the fee is different for ELECTRONIC AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING I am paying ?90000 and for bus ? 16000 and someone in my class is paying ?125000 so not everyone is paying the same amount in the college
