We did not have any tests or group discussion during admission. It's purely selected considering our 10th grade mark percentage. I preferred to study proffesional diploma courses as a base to my future engineering studies. I've heard this college is the best polytechnic college in our district trivandrum by an alumini there. So I choose this college. And this college has the best infrastructure, best lab facilities, faculties, so far
I've intrest in IT field. So I studied computer science as my higher secondary education. I wanted to continue that so I preferred diploma in computer engineering. This college have best faculties and facilities. Every student is provided with computer and laptops as their own. Teaching and non teaching staffs are much supportive. Exams are conducted at the end of every semester. Each semester is of 6 months. Total 6 semesters that is 3 years. Exams are strictly according to the course curriculum. Curriculum is pretty good for IT developors. We study major coding languages, web designing, computer hardware, cloud computing, robotics etc according to our curriculum. Exams are not that hard for someone who study thoroughly.
We can go to intership at the end of our 2nd, 4th and 6th semester. First two interships are on the period of 14-30 days. On the last internship students can join as trainees on various companies with salary and can join there as employee after completing the training process
Eligibility for getting placement is strictly based on CGPA of students. In my department placement exams could only be attended by students who did not have back papers. Many companies came from 5th semester offering placements. Companies like N-KORR technologies, HL MANDO, Texas instruments etc came in 5th semesters. Total of 10-20 companies conducted exams on our 5th semester for placements. Companies offer 15000/- to 20000/- for trainees. In our department, very low percentage of students get placed because they need much skilled people. Every other department has placement percentage like 55-65%. My plans after completing diploma in engineering is to got to higher studies like engineering. Also students are offered to got to internships. We can join for internship in companies on half of our sixth semester as trainees and can acquire permanent job.
In our college, tuition fees is paid on each semester. Total we have 6 semester, 6 month each semester total having 3 year course. Tuition fee vary for each sem. I've paid 975/- last sem. 625/- previous sem. Many students have e grantz scholarship, which they don't have to pay tuition fee. Only fees charged for students except tuition fee is exam fees. It is 330/- every time which we have to pay it online for exam registration. I've national scholarship 'pragathi' which I get 50000/- every year. That's why I have to pay every fees.
College life is good for me. We have art fests, sport fests, technical events etc. Everything is conducted each year. Arts and sports are conducted one after another as of march-april. Tech fest vary each year. We have a library with lots of study materials., Fictional books, journals etc. Every department have smart class rooms where we have high tech facilities like big Led display in addition to projector, laptop, ac etc. Sports practices are conducted daily on football, cricket volleyball etc. And our college participate om interpoly tournaments. Other than these we have National service scheme(NSS), National Cadet Corps(NCC), IEDC, etc where students get various opportunities for participate different classes, residential camps, work on projects etc.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that
college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events, and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects, giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.
There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech. There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary
The faculity is generally experienced and supportive most students are satisfied. With the teaching clinical exposure. Facilities are friendly with the students. Regularly conducts class test and model exam to help students prepare for their studies and university examination. Faculties are high qualified and experienced
Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.
I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
As I'm a first year student I've not got information about the placement but there are so many placement options from South Indian Bank, icici bank and also from companies like deliotte etc The college has connection with many international companies too.
Minimum criteria for placement is for a student with minimum arrears.Even though supply there if you have skill then you will be placed .Amal Jyothi has a better placement compared to other college and is very good
