Hardship in CAT
Likes
- I don’t particularly have any strong points to say as to why I like but one reason maybe some of the faculties are actually working people who also kkkw what’s going on in the industry and are updated
- I guess the only good architecture college inTRIVANDRUM is CAT
Dislikes
- I particularly dislike the course structure for our college which is very jumbled and sometimes seems too hectic
- I dislike the faculty being extremely discriminatory against some students
- I disklike how the relevant skill sets are left to us for learning on our own
Remarks :
The college doesn’t have any particular goods but the bad aspects actually do stand out such as the erratic course structure The subjective marking and discrimination of the faculty etcc I took computer science as my 11th and 12th biards as I needed to submit my physics chemistry and maths grades along with my NATA scores on the keam site For barch you don’t need to write any other exams than NATA
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose architecture as a passion. All the faculties are professors who have taken their masters from very high end colleges and to top it off the senior faculties have their own studio where they work and do projects outside so they do help out a real world perspective together with the teaching process
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I pay 1,15,000 as my merit quota The management quota has to pay 2,15,000 There aren’t any particular privileges regarding the fee structure for SC/ST There are many scholarships that help reduce the fee amount substantially though I do not know the details
Campus Life :
The campus life seems very happeninf from the outside but there are actually many programs and stuff being conducted but since not all of the student bodies are free at a single time ,the whole college only gets together on very rare occasions. Most of the batches seem to get together with their respective groups only too. But the sports week actually brings EVERY SINGLE ONE together
Hostel Facilities :
I do not stay in the hostel for I am a day scholar but the food does seem to get much complaints on most of the days and seems to be bland at most days so ppl prefer eating outside whenever they can go out

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
