Yes , I mean this is IIT . I didn't choose it , i got it with my hardwork. I started preparing for jee from 11th standard and given the exam in 12th that's how I cracked jee advance and got this college from josaa. Admission process: qualify jee advanced and as per cutoff you will be allotted the college as per your choice filling. For my course the cutoff is - Open category - 15,975 (males) 18,687(females) and yes I got a rank around 13800 so I got this one and there are no management seats available in IIT colleges ..if you want a seat you have to qualify jee advanced
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am really passionate towards metallurgy and materials engineering. Who doesn't, even sundar pichai is from metallurgy branch from iit kgp . That is the main factor which driven me to take this course and coming to the faculty we have top - grade faculties here who are PhD scholors from various IIMs and IITs . They are simply superb in their research, they suggest the internship opportunities for us and what not , they will make our whole career . Coming to exams we have Quizzes , mid terms , presentations , workshops and endterms ..this is the bifurcation of the course, so if you want to get good grades you have to perform well in each and every exam conducted by them .the difficulty is not very much you can score an average 8+ cpi easily
Internships Opportunities :
Yes , I am in my second year now at the end i applied for srfp internship . www.ias.com is the website in which I applied for summer fellowship research program - 12000/ month is the stipend and duration is mid - may to mid - july in which we have summer vacation holidays .. so don't waste your time in vacation buddy , gotta go for internship ????.and when you are in 3rd year then internship is through campus placement drive they come and take you for the3 month internship by a test and hr interview
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria depends on the company mostly the criteria would be CPI > 7.5 . There are some companies which doesn't require any criteria and also there are companies which require high cpi criteria so it totally depends on the company you are applying. Highest package - 86LPA ( computer science) and Average package of btech is 22-25LPA Average package of Btech is 14-18 LPA If you didn't got placed in the campus placements there are so many opportunities outside the campus which are highly welcoming the iitians and apply off campus , go get the job you want . My plans are definitely higher studies after getting a degree in my core branch which is metallurgy.

Hostel Facilities :
Infrastructure is not so bad , it is ok . But the rooms are congested and there is no need to any application before hand . Pay the fee from the website, go to your hostel office , show them the fee receipt they will allot you a room in the hostel in any of the block . Coming to the food , again it's not so bad , you definitely have to adjust with the quality of the food but the hygiene is assured there are no food poisoning cases registered. But the taste and quantity is average . Weekly four times you have non veg and for veg options you have panneer , mushroom. The mess infra is good

Placements for Mechatronics and Automation are average. Mostly service based and few automation or manufacturing companies visit the campus. Eligibility for placements is usually 60% aggregate with no backlogs. Some recruiters offer roles like graduate trainee, automation trainee and quality roles. Core branch offers are limited. Highest and average package is moderate and depends on company and role. Around 80% students get placed through campus. After completing my degree, I plan to improve my skills, do certifications and try for off-campus jobs in core automation field or go for higher studies.

faculty elected through Bihar government exam. their teacher method is really poor. one mid term exam including of attendance mark and project marks and one external exam 70 marks.exam level is not much difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite outdated. 75% attendance is mandatory to give exams. Faculties are overall good and supportive in ECE branch. Every faculty is well qualified,most of them are phd degree holders or pursuing PhD from a reputed institute like IIT,NITs. End semester Exams occur every 5-6 months.And mid term is held between the semesters. ( One mid term each semester).Exams are quite difficult as it is not an autonomous University.End semester copy checking is not done properly. Improper markings are given to few students.

The placement of collage is good as compare to other private collage in Bihar. The year student will appear for placement and sit. So many recruiter are visited our collage like TCS, Wipro , Accenture , Bajaj , Tech Mahindra , and Americana. Near about 500 offer and students get multiple jobs whose percentage is 30. The highest package is 11 lakh as Associate engineer in Americana. The average is 3.6 lakh for data analyst. Near about 80 student get placed in campus of our collage. I want continue my study and complete my master from NIT.
