- New college building is huge and fully air conditioned, anatomy garden is a garden situated in the middle of the campus. There is a huge Central ground, which is great. Add all the tournaments and fests are held in the central ground.
- All the faculties are well experienced and well behaved with no ego, which is a great thing and a rare thing to be found among professors Campus, life is great with no restrictions and no ragging
Dislikes
- The administration is sluggish and slow and the examination patterns are not good
- Great extent of campus is under renovation, and hence currently the campus is loaded with construction material.
Remarks :
The major factor for me choosing this college wasThe major factor for me choosing this college was being a day scholar. Also, my college has a huge lush green 130 acre campus and is 2nd best medical college in Gujarat after BJMC Ahmedabad. I wrote the national eligibility cum entrance test (NEET 2K22) in 2022 and qualified and cleared the cutoff with 621 marks in 2022. The cutoff in 2022 was 615. The counselling process involved verification .via validation of personal documents for the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our curriculum is divided into four and a half years end one year of internship. 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year comprises of 2 parts; 3rd 1st and 3rd 2nd (Final year) There are total 19 subjects in MBBS, with 11 subjects in the final year. The curriculum is very stressful and requires hard work and dedication to complete. The faculties of respective subjects are post graduates in their respective fields and have great experiences in their own fields. Faculties are hired based on government exams After post graduation Exams are held frequently with three internal exams and one external exam annually. The exams are very difficult and the passing criteria is fifty percentage, which is comparatively huge. Around 50 students fail every year and 20 of them fail even in the supplementary exam, leading to year back.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship in your college is held at the new civil hospital surat, which is a government funded programme and no private companies provide any kind of internship opportunities. The internship is of twelve months with 7 days duty and postings at different departments Stipend is 20500 per month and specific competencies are to be established during the internship duration (Ex: Insertion of endotracheal tube)
Placement Experience :
There is no campus placement or recruitment and the internship is held at the end of 3rd 2nd part, with a monthly stipend of 20500 which is provided by the government of gujarat. No private companies or hospitals are associated with the internship program because it is held at the new civil hospital, Surat. The students has to fill a compulsory bond of one year service to the government as a doctor after the degree at the place decided by the government. After m b b s, post graduation is done which is my plan
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual tuition fees is 25000 and the additional fees includes gymkhana fees (680 rs), Hostel fees (1200 annually) and Exam Fees (1800 rs annually) Registration fees was required during the counselling process which was charged by the counselling committees and not the college because direct admission isn't not possible, admission is done only through state and central counselling The fee structure is same for all categories Scholarships: MYSY (For state quota students), Digital gujarat scholarships (For reserved students; SC, ST, OBC) For MYSY, minimum boards percentage required is 60%
Campus Life :
The campus life is great. Annual college fest at GMCS is Eucrasia which is held every year in the march month. Also extra curricular activities like volleyball tournament, cricket tournament, chess competition and TT competition are held Clubs in the college include Music Club (Rhapsody), Dance club (Anaya), Artery club, Lights camera action (Cinematography club), Penumbra (Photography club), Rangmanch (Drama club) The Eucrasia official instagram handle is operated by the students which also organizes online competitions with prize money for medical students to participate. The Library is fully air conditioned and equipped with all latest facilities, journals, books and magazines.
Hostel Facilities :
Although I have not opted for any hostel, but still there are 4 hostel messes which have food with decent test and quality. In order to get room in the hostel, one needs to not be a localite and get approval from the student section. The yearly hostel fees is twelve hundred and the hostels maintainence is below par, but new hostels are under construction and will soon be available for accomodation

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
