The factos that help me choose my Colleges were great and lively city with malls, activities and great streat foods Among Top 3 Govt. medical Colleges in the Gujarat. Very big campus with open grounds and greenery which is absent in big colleges like AIIMS delhi or BJMC. The fees of Govt. Medical colleges in Gujarat is very less as compared to fees of other state colleges. My close relatives live in Surat because of which I was more confident and comfortable in going to a far city from my hometown Jaipur. I took help from the Head Counsellor of Allen 'Parijat Mishra' sir. He supervised my college list prior to rounds and he suggested that GMC Surat is a nice college. I would suggest hiring a skilled counselor like him while choosing colleges or making the list. Exam-Neet UG Cut-off varies year to year -Aiq cut off 2022 was around 621 (3rd round) SQ cut-off 2022 Gen - 617 OBC - 589(Second Round) Admission process is simple and the documents required are basic marksheet.
I wanted to become a doctor so I went with MBBS. Other degrees like Physiotherapy and Nursing are also available in our college but the future career options, salary and social reputation is less than MBBS doctor. All the Faculty is highly qualified and experienced but only few can be called good teachers. Professors mostly used ppt in lecture halls for theory lecture. Practicals include visiting labs and dissection rooms. BIOCHEMISTRY practicals and specially boring and almost useless with faculty reading the journals like a story forcing us to sleep. Moreover Biochemistry faculty doesn't concern about AIQ students and intentionally choose to teach in Gujarati making it more difficult to stay focused in the class. 2 internals, 1 prelims and University exam are conducted with Part ending vivas in Anatomy. Exams are held every 2-3 months after beginning of session and session is of 12-13 months. Difficultly is Medium and mostly questions are from highlighted points given by seniors.

Cultural Fest is called 'Eucrasia'. It is neither regularly held not enough funded by the college because of which the arrangements are not very good. Students are majorly dependent on Sponsorships for the funding Only 2-3 clubs are active out of 6-7 clubs. The active clubs including Short Flim making (LCA), music club (Rhapsody) and the Drama club( Rangmanch). Other clubs like arts and photography are almost dead. Very little options for sports. No proper pitch and ground for cricket, no badminton, tennis and basketball court, 1 small volleyball court which is usually occupied (not by students) No sports event organised/funded by college College Library is decent and most of the books required are available there. Books can be issued by students. Apart from library, there is big AC reading room where students can study 24/7. Lecture halls are quite big with all modern amenities like AC and WiFi and seating capacity of 300 students. Chairs are particularly good.
Yes I live in the boys hostel. The hostel is quite affordable with fees of only ?1200 annually. The boys hostel currently for 3rd Year boys is not very good. Rooms are small and bathroom and toilets are very poorly maintained. 1st and 2nd year students live in other hostels which are in same condition if not worse. Interns and 4th year live in PG like building with attached bathrooms and kitchens in a 5-6 students sharing a room. However new buildings are under construction and will be available to all the boys and girls within next 6 months. We have 2 coed mess in the PG hostels and 1 mess each in boys and girls hostel. Food is decent and both gujarati and rajasthani/haryanvi taste option are available as different mess are managed by different peoples. Canteen is quite big and prices are very genuine. Taste of Dosa,Chai, Khamni, Samosa, Gotala,Pulao is very good with many other options Opens from 7:30am to 10:30pm. Registration for hostel can be done during the Admission process.

No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.
Plans after course generally comprise of of masters, as there is saturation of jobs in B. Pharm market, and masters help in skill development and making students employable in the industry as well as education.
Good placements after masters and bachelor’s the support is full from the institution and the companies come to collage and interview us and the placement are 90% and above with the good package expecting
All the faculties in the teaching staff are well qualified and give really good guidance for the curriculum and practical knowledge for each and every subject. The faculties also encourage participation in various extra curricular activities to enhance social networking and other skills.
Curriculum is well structured. The faculty members are also very knowledgeable and helpful whenever we need guidance they are always ready to help and exams are taken may times in one sem like we have mid sem 1 and 2 and internal practical and external practical and final end semester exam.
