A Full Review on SVNIT
Likes
- Campus life is good and pleasant especially the lawn area.
- Hostel is nice and the rooms have adequant area.
Dislikes
- The Infrastructure is very poor and the buildings are way too old.
- Faculty for some subjects are very poor.
Remarks :
There will be no interviews or anything. We have to give JEE-Mains Examination and have to clear the cutoff for the desired branch of this college. The college is good especially for mechanical branch.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum of civil engineering is nice and the faculty for some subjects are good and well, for some subjects it is not upto the mark. The classrooms are pretty ordinary and the infrastructure is way too old.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done a total of 2 internships. One after 2nd year in IIT Roorkee and the other was during my last sem in Dr.NTTPS, both I applied myself. The college also provides internships only in the last sem but we cant do research inrernships under the professors of the college.
Placement Experience :
For civil engineering the placements are below par. Only 50% students placed in 2024. In that 40% are core placed and 10% are not core. Reliance, Tata, L&T are some companies that visited. There is a mandatory internship in last sem which will be provided by institute.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tution fee for each sem will be 63500/- including all and there will fee remission of 2/3rd for income less than 1lac and 1/3rd for income less than 6lac. And no fee for sc/st category. and the hostel fees will be 25000 for each year and message fees will be 17000 for each sem.
Campus Life :
The life at the campus is decent. There will be many clubs for dance, singing, and also related to studies. Also, there will be so many fests will.be conducted during the year but the major fest will be SPARSH which will be held during the month of Feb. The most happening place/building will be library. It is one of the most beautiful building in SVNIT. The facilities in library is good with most of the books available.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms will be alloted during the payment according to your choice. For first 2 years there will be 2 shared rooms and from 3rd year you can opt for single shared rooms. Hostels will be very good. The rooms has adequate space and nice ventilation with cupboards provided. The mess will be a letdown especially if you are coming from south of India. The food will be north indian cuisine. But you can manage it.

They are good after m pharma around 90% but after b pharma not much because students opt to go for further education overall it’s is good and students a can rely on placement after completion of their course

Average CGPA should be more than 8. Packages providing will be approx 1.5-3.0 LPA. The placement is about 90%. The packages provided are good and satisfactory. After completing this bachelor's degree I would go for masters degree.

Placement Experience :
No placements are there . The aveeagw placement in the market is about 1.5 to 4.5 lakhs .As compared to the different field the packages for the freshers are very low . But the faculties based on their refrences they give the opportunity.

All the faculties in the teaching staff are well qualified and give really good guidance for the curriculum and practical knowledge for each and every subject. The faculties also encourage participation in various extra curricular activities to enhance social networking and other skills.

Curriculum is well structured. The faculty members are also very knowledgeable and helpful whenever we need guidance they are always ready to help and exams are taken may times in one sem like we have mid sem 1 and 2 and internal practical and external practical and final end semester exam.

I havent got any job offer or placement from this University because i m a Diploma student but i will definitely try to search by myself for the job opportunities.I would rather handle my home business may be an 9 to 5 Job.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I have selected this course because of placement opportunity. Faculties members are highly qualified and they usually teach using PPT, white board, computer, etc . There is one mid term exam and one gtu exam per semester.
