- IIITM Gwalior boasts an impressive campus with modern facilities. Dislikes
- The quality of food provided in the mess could be significantly improved. Students often feel that the variety, taste, and hygiene standards do not meet expectations, which can impact overall satisfaction with campus life. Introducing more diverse and nutritious meal options would greatly enhance the experience.
- While the campus infrastructure is generally impressive, the hostel facilities could use some upgrades. Issues like occasional maintenance delays and overcrowding in hostels during peak semesters can be inconvenient for students. Improving these aspects would make the living experience more comfortable and conducive to studying.
Remarks :
I went through JEE-Mains, the cutoff for general category is 12k when I've joined in 2020 but now I think it is around 8k. The college has good research community, professors always encouraged us to write research papers. The placements are also good and the connection with alumni is good.

I did not opt for an internship through the college; however, IIITM Gwalior offers ample internship opportunities for students. Various companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, and Deloitte visit the campus to offer internships in domains like software development, data science, and consulting. These internships often come with lucrative stipends ranging from 20,000 to 80,000 per month, depending on the company and role. Students typically work on cutting-edge projects like building scalable applications, designing machine learning models, and working on real-time data analysis. These projects provide valuable industry exposure and prepare students for corporate challenges.
Placement Experience :
ABV-IIITM Gwalior has a robust placement record, attracting numerous reputable companies annually. In the 2020-21 session, the institute reported a highest package of ?59.27 LPA, with the top 20 companies offering an average package of 29.66 LPA. The overall average package across all programs was 16.85 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The academic fee is constant for all 4 years, 75000 per sem. Then there are mess fee and hostel fee both combined is around 25000. There will be caution fee in the first year, it is around 20000. The college gives concession for SC/ST, for SC/ST, fee is exactly half in the academic fee and hostel fee needs to be paid in full.
Campus Life :
There is only one fest per year and there are some good clubs like manchatantra and aasf, Rotaract is also good. Library is not so updated, they only update research papers but books not so well. There will be Urja once a year, it's a sports fest and whole college participates in that. So it's cool
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is a single room for each student and it should be cleaned by ourselves only the common areas are cleaned by the staff. The bathrooms are also attached. The food quality is bad, it's just okok for a national college and they only serve north indian food. Tiffins have atleast some variety but in the afternoon and night, it's just varieties of aloo. But at 25000 per semester it's is affordable but bad.

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa

The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
