My Personal Review for Gautam Buddha University

- I like the infrastructure here as the campus is very huge but it isn't maintained properly and feels like it's deteriorating.
- The campus life is great i enjoy a good time here in hostel with my friends.
Dislikes
- I dislike the facilities given here as they lack a lot in terms of facilities even after getting huge grants from the government.
- The college isn't also good enough it's just hyped for the sake of being a government college.
Remarks :
This college is a government public university so i came here from a thought that it might be good in academics even though i knew that it's placement rate isn't good enough. But after coming here i came to know that you can't depend on your teachers here and you can't even expect much help from them ! You have to do everything by yourself. You can take admission here either through jee mains score or they conduct their own admission test too aka gbu-et. The test is very easy even if you go there unprepared and you have basic knowlege of the three(pcm) it ain't feel like a task even.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have always wanted to be a software engineer that's why i chose cse core here. The faculty provided here to us is very qualified and most of the teachers are Phd holders from renowned IIT's and their knowledge is good enough. They have a great teaching experience. Semester exams are conducted in two session which are mid-semester and an end-semester which aren't that tough they are like you just need to prepare 1 week before and you can earn a great score.
Placement Experience :
Placement's here aren't that great. The average package here is around 4 lpa and highest it goes around 10-12 lpa but only about 65-70 percent students get placed from campus and mostly it is mass recruitment is there in companies like tcs, wipro. There is a placement cell in the college helping students in their placements. The placement rate is around 65-75 percent. I am thinking to prepare all by myself for the job and not depending on the college or their placement department.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total tution fees for Btech Cse Core students is 200000 per year i.e 1 lakh per semester. We also get scholarship here which is given by UP Government to all students whose parents income is less than 2 lakh per annum and the scholarship we get each year is around 60-65k. The fees is same for the enrolled students but its increasing every year for the newcomers.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is great. They have a huge campus and it's very good to live your college life. The most enjoying part is the life at hostels with friends. like you'll enjoy it a lot. We have many fests conducted here but the main one is known as Abhivyanjana and it's a good one. I attended it myself this year and it was great. The dance and singing performances were too good as per my expectations. They have got many clubs here for dfifferent people like singing club, drama club, photography club and many more. GBU is best in terms in of Sports Infrastructure like they have got 3-4 full fledged stadiums, 2-3 basketball courts and an indoor stadium where many national and state level games are organised. It is very good in terms of sports facilities. And about social groups i know few of them like GDC(Google developers club) and Hackfed Club which are managed by senior students and they also provide good oppurtunities to students by conducting many hackathons and events
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel and mess fees is affordable like they are charging 40k for the mess and 45k for the hostel room per year. And the great thing is that you get single seated room at this price point which is better than many private colleges. The registration for the hostel room is done online at a site called OHMS which is developed by the students of the 3rd Year. The food quality is great and taste is better than you could expect.

The college also give me internship and placement opportunities to learn practically to know the how the company works. I also get the internship in noida in den publication company and their is very good experience i learnt to so much things new .

our course is not for placement , you will get job in many library as per your degree , if you want grad a jobs you have complete PHD in library science . there is no campuss placement in this college for this course . most of student do mlis and UGN net after blis and some of them prepare for government like JNV and asst librarioan posts

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low
My Experience at Galgotias University

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Galgotias University has a high placement rate with the current tenures placement reaching 5500+ job offers. The highest package was 60LPA and the average goes between 5LPA. The university has a dedicated placement cell and also an well developed student led e-cell. There are many internship opportunities as well both India and abroad.

The placement are nice, this year the Highest package was of 60 Lakh and the Average package was of 5.4 Lakh. There are a lot of internships oppourtinity also so you get to experience Industry work during you 3rd year which gives you a heads up.

It's a private college so we can't expect something great we need to manage our studies ourselves . Teachers are quite confused for whatever they teach. The environment is also not that good. I would suggest that you can get a better college from this
