The university also runs a 5-year integrated B.Tech plus M.Tech dual degree with a fee of INR 8,15,500 to INR 8,65,500. Its integrated M.Sc plus PhD programme costs INR 5,01,500. The School of Buddhist Studies offers separate UG and PG programmes in Buddhist Studies and Civilisation.

GBU Admission Process

GBU uses a centralised admission system linked with national entrance exams. CUET-UG is accepted for most UG courses, while B.Tech admission also uses JEE Main scores. For PG courses, the university accepts CUET-PG and other programme-specific national entrance tests.

B.Tech Admission

For B.Tech, students must pass Class 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The minimum required aggregate is 45%, while SC/ST candidates need 40%. Admission is based only on JEE Main or CUET-UG rank, and GBU prepares separate merit lists for General, EWS, OBC, SC, and ST categories.

  • Step 1: Appear for JEE Main in the January or April session, or CUET-UG in the May session, depending on the route chosen.
  • Step 2: Complete the GBU application form at gbuadm.samarth.edu.in during the university admission window.
  • Step 3: After provisional allotment, complete document verification and pay the required fee.

MBA Admission

For MBA admission, applicants need a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate. GBU accepts CUET-PG, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, and GMAT scores. Most MBA programmes do not have a separate university-level written test or group discussion, and selection is based on test performance.

Law (BA LLB) and Architecture (B.Arch) Admission

BA LLB is open to Class 10+2 pass students from any stream, with admission based on CUET-UG or CLAT scores. B.Arch applicants must have Mathematics in Class 10+2 and a valid NATA score or JEE Main Paper 2 score. Architecture has limited seats, and they usually fill fast in the first counselling round.

GBU Campus and Infrastructure
