Typical college with beautiful memories

- College has very beautiful infrastructure and its full of greenary. It spread in acres of land . It has gym , theatre, church, animal shelter,bamboo field , beautiful gardens etc. We used roam inside campus during night.
- All the faculties are very good and having helping mentality. We can call and approach them at any point of time and without any hesitation they will help us.

Remarks :
The main factor to choose this college was it is well known for bachelors in geography in kerala . It also has a very good infrastructure and the campus is full of greenary and spread in acres of land . As a hosteller it was a vibe to roam around the campus even in night. It also has college fest which are celebrated in a grand manner. There were no group discussions or written test for admission. There won't be a interview also but meeting with the principal or the vice principal of the college during admission was mandatory. It was mostly a first cum first basis. The good aspect about the college was its perfect except the hostel life. The bad aspect was it has a strict staff at account section. There wasn't any exams fir admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum was very relevant ti today's world. The academics was perfect. They have th best faculties ever. My faculties were sajeesh sir , sangeeth sir , Chandrashekhar sir , Indu ma'am and our head of the department was very friendly. Rest of the faculties are very helpful and caring also. I choose this course because I want to become an urban planner and need to be graduate in geography. Kerala's first phd graduate in geography is our head of the department. So there was so much to learn from him and that's why I choose this particular course from this particular college. All the faculties are either phd graduates or doing their phd simultaneously. Their teaching method were so good that we understood the concepts easily. They will also provide notes and ppts. We can call and approach whenever we want and they will help us back and clear our doubts. Term exams were perfectly timed . For average students also it wasn't that difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
No I didn't do any internship because it wasn't plan of our curriculum. I did my final year project in human Settlements of palakkad district. The project I did was very hard. My profeesors helped with this.
Placement Experience :
Placement options were only for bachelors in computer application and hotel management students. For geography there is many carrer options like gis specialist , cartographer , urban planner, teacher etc.. . My plan is to complete post graduation in geography or related field then masters in urban planning. Completing the degree is the basic eligibility criteria for jobs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees was 67000 for general category and 57000 for the reservation category. The fees should be paid in semester wise . For general category it is 33500 and for reservation category it is 28500. The fees include the development fees , lab fees and other compulsory charges . During the admission we has to pay 20000 has caution deposit which we will get back once we are graduated . Ther will be reduction for reservation category. There are scholarships for bpl people like fees reduction even upto 50 percentage . There is no tuition fees for sports quota.
Campus Life :
Campus life was good overall. There are more than 10 clubs which include literature, arts ,sports etc... . All the clubs were every active and happening. The social life of this college is very good since it was judgement free environment. Any students can participate in any programs. Name of the fest changes every year and the fest have always happened in a grand scale. The month also varies yearly of the fest. There are plenty of books and journals in the library but it will close at evening itself everyday. The amenities in the classroom are good. Almost all the sports were given preference in the college. There is even sports quota available were students don't need to pay even the tuition fees. The extracurricular activities were also happening very successfully. Most of the social groups , clubs were run by children and website by college management themselves.
Hostel Facilities :
I opted for hostel during my college. The hostel mess was good except the idly. There will be chicken and fish once in a week and egg twice a week. The hostel infrastructure was average. For ug students dormitory is the only option in hostel. Rooms were for pg students. The hostel can be accessed once you get the admission. You just need to provide details of admission and they will allow you to stay in hostel. It is a simple registration process for hostel admission. There will be a caution deposit of 10000 which we will get back once we graduate. The hostel fees is 4000 monthly and it includes room fees and food fees. During final I moved out and took a room for rent in kunampalikavu which is 100mtrs away from college.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
