I chose skit because the curriculum is pretty good and the sports facilities are really nice. I am a volleyball player and The volleyball team there goes to many tournaments and theyy win..same with other sports too. I think skit would be the best college in jaipur for engineering as it is organises many talks and activities to prepare for real life industries. The only bad thing that i think is thsre is the uniform, we literally have to wear a uniform everyday and that there are very less events happening. I got admission through my jee percentile through REAP. Minimum criteria is 45 percent in 12th and jee mains, and there was no gd or interviews.
I chose this course because i have my cousin in this college and he told me that people are startinf to do internships and work on real life projects from 1st and 2nd year. And here the placements are really good. Teachers are very supportive and they definetly knkw about the stuff they are teaching. There are 3 exams in a semester, two mid terms and 1 semester end exam. The mid terms are not that difficult but the semester end exams are pretty difficult and hectic.
The placements are really good in skit, about 80-90 percent students get placements. The highest package offered was to a senior of mine who got 42 lpa and the lowest being 3 lpa. Avg package is about 7-8 lpa.
For one semester it is about 57000 and for 1st year and all the next four years it is about 1.14 lakh rupees. total is about 450000. There is a huge cut in the fees in cases of reservation. There are no extra charges levied, except for bus facility or hostel charges. Bus fare is about 37000 while the hostel fees is 80000
There are fests but rarely, since the past 5 months in my college only one fest has been organized, techno fest in which there were many activities. It was really fun. There is an event called pravah, it is the main annual event organised either in jan or feb in which many different competitions are organised like dance, music, sports etc. The library is pretty big and it has books about everything. The sports facilities are good, the infrastructure is also pretty good. There are coaches for teams and many teams frequently go to tournaments and win those. Insta for pravah event- @skitpravah
There are 2 hostel, one ac and 1 non ac, and the facilities are nice. The mess food is like every other mess food, eatable. The fees for hostel is about 40,000 for one year. Except this hostel, there are many pg and rooms outside the campus also.
I am not into placement and job opportunities by my course I am preparing for a government exam hence I need a degree for that On the other hand as it is a government college There are high chances of placements with good packages
Its an 100% placement college with internships opportunities at 7th semester The college gives details mock questions whick can be asked during interviews sessions. The college even have great company opportunities
I heard that btech is no one here for academics and placements for women so its worth it. There are lots of sports opportunities wherever you want you can achieve like horse riding squash etc. theres aviation as well for the girls to fly and achieve their dreams
Yes, students had gotten placements via college in banking and private companies because after completing graduation i also got an opportunity through college but due to some circumstances, i hadn’t got that chance.
You just have to be a student of last year for applying in internship programs and placements. You have to master any skill and then you can get placement. Many small companies helds campaigns in the university and appoint students for job. The average package is around 20-30 per annum. The highest is around 40 to 50 lakh and lowest is around 10 to 20 lakh per annum. 60% of students gets placement in companies . My plans after getting the degree are to master a skill and then apply for a job in a well known company.
our course first batch is still not gradutaed so there is no info about placements but there is such help in internship. they also told that they will give placment asiistance from their side , lets see
The internship experience is provided by college . Many recruiters came for recruitments every year in all the streams. companies like HUL and FMCG groups take their fresh employees and provide experience of salary basis.
I really don't like placement of jecrc bcoz I don't see mt senior going to a great company out campus they are achieving good but in our campus we don't really get into good company they should have increased the number of companies in our college
Campus recruitment training is provided to all course students and it depends on the student whether they want to opt for it or not. After CRT, different companies come to the campus for their recruitment drive.
There is no campus placement here. Students who passed out from here some are finding jobs, some had their good family business and just wanted to get a degree and some started their own startup. College don't provide you any future security.
As every engineering college we get high placements in circuital branches but for non circuitals senior advice to study a particular language , DSA and all to get placements which is somewhere right because chances of circuital branch jobs are high.
